Another good scavenging/crafting/Zombie adventure

Democracy has never been so engaging and understandable to the masses

It's a survival game that keeps a much faster pace than other in the same Genre.
It's refreshing

This is everything fans wish tabletop DnD could be when translated into a game.
Also very good starting point for people who have no idea how to roll dice.

Pros: Combat is fun and has lots of variation. If you are struggling, you can switch up your tactics and often find a way to win. Story is very good. The progression is satisfying when you return to a planet you visited previously and unlock a new area with your abilities.
Cons: Certain people may find this game difficult, but they can always reduce the difficulty in the options.

Very fun. The beginning learning curve is worth putting up with for the later parts of the game.

I was pretty exctied about this game and finally wanted to give it a go. Unfortunately I couldn't tolerate the long, long, long, loooooong pauses between character actions and the painful process of waiting for your team's turn. It took me 3 hours to progress through and beat the second mission. Most of this time was the camera watching random alien soldier #64 run, jump over a low wall, and stand in place with a pause before watching random alien soldier #65 do the same thing. Once you watch this 16 times per turn (2nd mission has you go against around 16 enemies at once) you look down at your watch and realize that your life is ticking away as you are forced to wait 3-4 minutes between each of your turns.
Maybe you had to get this one at launch to really enjoy it? I need a bigger return on my "fun" investment for my games these days.
