What really spoils my experience is that they stick to the same stupid game mechanics they did for all their games so far.
Its like they do not listen to the players ever...

Everyone that played previous games know what im talking about. If not i gladly refresh your memory:
Have you recently spend more time for inventory management than the actual "space adventure" ?
I mean selling loot is a pain! WHY?
And thats exactly the design choice thats exemplary for all the other relics of their previous gamedesigns that they were ever too lazy to rethink.

Another main problem is the new game plus which doesnt really scale with your level.
So this makes the endgame an absolute repetitive grind. I mean you could do some sidequests but they wont scale with your level so all the action feels stale. Not to mention the laughable difficulty.
The entire interaction with npcs feels absolutely meaningless thats probably why most of them turns their back to me when talking.. or everyone is talking to you at once ...wait ... has this been actually tested??!
Everyone that recently played BG3 could not possibly react in any other way than feeling offended.
Not to mention the "persuade" mechanic which just speaks for itself.


The game definately has its good sides.
The overall feeling in combat is probably the best of all their games.
The shipeditor is pretty fun to use once you manage to workarround its utter clunkyness. But the custom ships are very well integrated and immersive.
The level and questdesign isnt all bad and often fun unless you have to interact with npc.
I did enjoy playing it so far but it could be much better.


This game will be probably great in 5 years when expansions and mods ironed out most flaws.

KKD ist really good!

You can feel that the developer put alot of love into the game and the storyline and sidequests are great.

I experienced a few bugs and glitches but i was able to workarround most of em and thats not a big surprise for an open world game. The developers have fixed alot of them already and with the new patches the game is more balanced in the late game now. Since there are alot of mods arround already you can make it alot harder if you feel thats necissary.

Im still having fun after 200+ h in the game.
