Sometimes i just want to wander out into the wilderness and destroy monsters with a crazy team of adventurers. Sometimes i dont want to micro manage an entire party cause i expect the other characters to know what theyre doing. Sometimes i want to watch my team obliterate enemies while i sit back and watch with glee. Sometimes i dont want to have to deal with real people with real wants and needs that drain on my social battery. Sometimes i just wanna FIGHT.

Dragons Dogma 1 gave me that.
Dragons Dogma 2 is currently giving me that.

Dragons Dogma hasnt stopped making me feel like the captain of an amazing medieval kill squad in a dangerous, monster ridden world.

Go out and adventure. Go out and SLAY something!

This game is borderline a propaganda for itself.

And yet somehow...

It makes no sense that this can even exist.

ok ok so here are my thoughts. The idea, the very concept of this game is a fun one, that being said: I only really enjoy this game cause Im able to adjust the difficulty as I want and whenever I want. Most other 'survival' games focus too much on making the game difficult and full of necessary micromanagement that would get you killed if you don't manage right. However in this game, I can walk away or take a nap knowing that my farm and pals will be 100% safe and nothing is going to scream at me when I forget to water my damn tomato plants ever 2 minutes.

The game is chill. This is a light ' open-world survival base management' game and I couldn't care less if they took inspiration from pokemon, because this game legitimately makes me pissed at nintendo for not doing it first. I can't believe someone else did it first, and its actually fun, functional, and easily accessible to people like me who doesn't have the patience to play things like ark or scum or zomboid, or whatever hardcore survival games people are into now a days.

nintendo, what the heck are you doing, man? hurry the g dang up and make a game like this, you damn cowards.

-Oh yeah and I guess there's guns in this game too, but that's the least important gameplay feature if you ask me.
