Fun to 100% and waiting for Patapon 3.

Highly recommend on the steamdeck. It feels like playing the psp version while looking nice. I just wish you can switch the icons of the drums to the original PS version instead of arrows.

This DLC is so worth it. The price might look high but it quadruples the game, just think of it as 4 games in 1 dlc.

Each planet is pretty much a new game and have their own play-style. Making a space platform/the spaceship for traveling is another factory on it's own that you need to plan for.

If you haven't beat the base game you might not want to get this yet or if you have a friend that did you can learn from them and do it together. You can even play your own planets at the same time once you can launch to space. All these planets work on their own.

I heard people complain about the quality system. It's optional and it kinda adds a reason to use resources specially in fulgora. There is so much resource there that you can keep throwing away to reroll.

I wish they add an option that allows you to start on any planet. There's a mod for it tho, but I want to get the achievements and try to start with gleba lol.

overall really great dlc 10/10

Early Access Review
The game is good but it can be better.

I was itching for an alternative to dwarf fortress adventure mode and this kinda fits it, but there are issues.

The game forces you to do quest to unlock certain things. If I don't want to make a base and just be an adventurer I don't think it is possible with the current state of the game.
I wish they reconsider how crafting is unlocked and stuff, because if play this on permanent death it would be annoying really quick.

The controls and UI can be better too. I don't know how because there's just so many things in it.
Isometric view looks nice but the control feels off. I would recommend just using your mouse but it's kinda janky.

The amount of materials you can use for crafting just made the inventory management worse. I can see it adding to the complexity but it feels too much. Adding just a random quality system like in Rimworld would be better.
Even minecraft has 1 type of stick even when it has different types of wood just so they can stack.

The game right now feels too linear because of the quest. I might as well play dwarf fortress for a true sandbox experience.

Still fun tho.

Still a good game. I played this a lot back then. I have so many copies of this game on different devices. So many miss opportunities to add in the remaster tho like improving messages and just adding soul amount on soul items.

They could have made this elden ring 2 and called it a day but they didn't. For how much this is worth, we get so much from it. I think people are forgetting we play this game cuz it is difficult.

I made a new character and I'm just using a greatsword not dual or any cheese strat whatsoever. I have no summon or any magic. My character is just pure strength with no cheese just like giant dad. It may take hours for me to beat some bosses because I am not a pro at all and with this stupid build. Just don't suck. Use as much as advantage you can and stop complaining. It is as hard as you want. Mimic tear all the way if you want to if you don't have the skill or patience to learn the attack patterns.

This DLC is so big it might even be as big as Darksouls 1 as a whole. That alone already justify it. GLWF!

EA pls remaster this! I bought this game twice! The only thing generals need is look better and run better with online features that's really it. You can skip the campaign fr.

Early Access Review
This is basically what legend of Arceus could have been except the guns lol.
It's still quite buggy and has memory leaks but still pretty good and I'm looking forward to more endgame content like arena battles.

I wish guilds have more bases because joining one feels more like a downside than just letting everyone have their own guilds. There is just not enough resources to maintain like 8 people in 1 single guild.

After beating Primordial and making him a set I'm making this review (Solo Gunlance Main).

PROS:
* It's nice that you can customize skills more like in generations but might overwhelm new players with the combos you can do.
* You can now bring NPCs which is nice for the story. I wish Huntsman was like that in world. If you want more challenge just don't bring any but in the main story you are forced to bring sometimes.
* The decorations are craftable. This makes it so much easier to make builds which help me just push my Velociprey armor until Primordial. Charms are way more bareable being RNG compare to decorations in world.
*Dogs. The mounts being so easy to use is cool tho but I miss the uber in world where it walks on it's own. You can even use this to sharpen or heal while moving in combat.
* MR moveset. I like what they did with MR monsters here they really feel more challenging than HR. They have a lot more moveset which makes even a Pukei pukei more fun.

CONS:
* There are things I like about Rise more than World. The better frame rate compare to the switch version is nice but the cutscences are still 30 which kinda makes the game look less polished.
* Spirit birds are artificial difficulty. Every time I fight a difficult boss like Primordial I am force to walk around the map just to pick up HP buffs just so I don't get one shot.
* They should have kept the investigations with bonus rewards in world and also vouchers. Grinding for armor is a pain in this game compare to World, especially since they made primordial set need 5 freaking gems. Even Fatalis is easier to farm than this armor.
* The quiro investigations are kinda meh? lol. They made Amatsu and primordial available so early I already beat him before MR 50 were rajang is. Such a weird decision to make them so easily accessible it's good tho for someone like me just trying to beat the game asap.
* I like the big lobby in world with 16 player cap. This allows me to play with multiple friends and we can take turns on who goes on what quest not just 4 friends at a time.
* TOO many grab attacks. You are punished for using your wirebug in this game. Unless you have a build for wirebugs might as well just keep them most of the time and play like traditional mh because they will punish you for it.
* Gathering isn't as good as world. You can't mark the spot you want to gather like in world. You will need to constantly look in your map. This wasn't an issue on older games cuz everything is on the floor but in Rise there are just so many verticality that makes it so hard to look for things. They need to bring back marking on the map like in world.
* No 16:10 resolution. I keep playing with borders on my screen unless you mod it which Capcom is against.

BUG:
The combo is also buggy for gunlance, triple shelling shot doesn't work properly all the time. This is only a gunlance problem idk about other weapons if they have combo issues.

CONCLUSION:
It's a pretty good MH game but if you're not into too many combos then this might not be for you. MHW or older games would be more toned down on that department. If you can get pass all of the cons I listed then this is a good game. I would still recommend it if you are itching for an MH game but World is a better MH game but MHFU is a better game than both LOL. MHW is just way more polished and not buggy like Rise is.
