EDIT: Go support Soulash 2. Amazing game with nice dev.

It's bad. Poorly implemented, writing is not amusing at all, and quests and stories are simply not fun. Also, the developer is famous for banning anyone with a differing point of view.

It's a nice and entertaining game, however it lacks the depth of other games it has been compared to; e.g. dwarf fortress and rim world. i do recommend it if you are looking for a more arcade-ish roguelike experience .

I originally bought this game for my girlfriend. The relationship has ended and she didn't have the chance to play. Shame on her, I enjoyed it a lot. Guaranteed fun.

The game is good and the story is okay - I have, however, encountered more than a few typos and I found this to be particularly annoying because if I, as a non native English speaker can notice it, it probably means it went through a poor quality assurance work

Solid STG. Soundtrack is very nice and diverse (you can unlock special remixes of the original songs to play whenever you want to, and they are pretty good). Graphics are nice and a homage to a past era of shmups.
If you are into moe stuff, expect to be well served.

This is a Japanese version of Wizardry -- made mainly for the JP public, which means that some elements within the game might be a little bit "off" if you expect a classic Wizardry experience. All the art has been done in such a way that suits the Japanese experience, e.g., anime style.

Do I recommend this game? I would say that yes, it is a solid experience, if and only if:
1. You are looking to kill some time mindlessly grinding some monsters in a dungeon;
2. You are willing to set your expectations towards story-line quality and development way below your normal threshold;
3. You REALLY want to spend valuable time getting massacred by dragons, succubi, vampires etc.

As for me, I recently got in vacation from Uni so it was quite desirable to spend some time letting my remaining neurons cool off some of the excessive use during this semester. I bought it on sale and do not regret it; however, I do not intend to ever play it again. Have fun!

It is kind of boring for an adult to play it for the first time. I actually got the game as a young kind but my PC wasn't able to handle the game :( so I felt that I needed to at least satisfy my inner 10-year-old which was frustrated due to this. I'd have loved it back then, but now it's really outdated and the plot is not captivating, at all

Tales of Symphonia is a classic JRPG. It is a great game by any means; if you, however, expect a great storyline, full of unexpected happenings and so on, I would not recommend it.
If you play it awaiting for a mature plot, it is certain that disapointment will strike upon you - instead, approach it light heartedly, appreciating the great art and little details of the game which make it so enjoyable. Sincerely, this game has been a great journey which I have gone through during this pandemy, and it certainly helped to relieve a little bit of the inherent tension attached to the period in which we are living.

It is a pretty fun game. I enjoyed it thoroughly in a time in which I did not desire for any kind of 'intellectual' kind of entertrainment. Vanquish is some sort of japanese rereading of Western sci-fi, being clearly influenced by Star Wars and Iron Man. Obviously it is a rereading in a very vague way, you can just barely notice some of the elements that could be seen as a direct influence from the aforesaid media.
