Magnificent, intense, emotional, adventurous and the list of adjectives that can describe this masterpiece goes on. I've been a PC gamer all my life and I'm absolutely thrilled to be a part of this moment. Joel's role as a father figure to Ellie in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies reminds me of the relationship between Lee and Clementine in The Walking Dead. In this kind of world, not zombies are the most dangerous enemies, but humans.
The locations in the game are built so intricately that you can see the impact this apocalypse had and how it changed everything, including people's way of life. The characters are diverse, from experienced hunters to children who don't even know what the world was like before because they were born in these times.
In terms of controls, I didn't even feel like it was a port. Weapon handling and fighting enemies felt very smooth. From a technical point of view, I only had a few crashes at the beginning of the game that I fixed later. Otherwise, I didn't encounter any problems, maybe because I waited for a few patches after the launch to have the best possible experience.
The Last of Us is a game that marks you. It's one of the best stories I've come across in gaming and a downright fabulous experience.
