This game is like one of those cute 8bit games from back in the day, and I think that is part of why I enjoy it as much as I do. It reminds me a little of my childhood, when everything wasn't so damn serious all the time. You lose any sense of time when you're immersed in this game, and I love it.

It demands absolutely nothing from you. You can just stroll through town, talk to a few of your townspeople, go down to the ocean for a few hours of fishing, take care of your animals, re-arrange your farm, plant some veggies and fruit, or cook some food. Sounds too boring after an annoying day at work and you want a little more action? That's fine too, just head for the mines or the skull cavern to kill some monsters and collect shiny things to make some money while you're at it.

That's not to say that this game doesn't have a story. Oh, it does. It's full of magic, mysteries and every single NPC in this town has a story to tell! The greatest thing of all? It's still being worked on. I haven't played this game in almost a year and picked it up again this week and was surprised to find that there was a bunch of new content for me to exlore! The modding community is also still very much alive, and some of the mods are really, really great and make the gaming experience even more enjoyable and fun. You should check them out!

I have over 80 hours on this game, and I'm sure I'm gonna get at least another 100 out of it. And for the price it's up on the store these days (€13,99)? GRAB IT. You most certainly won't regret it.
