Alright, so as a pretty big Harry Potter/Wizarding World fan—books read, midnight movie marathons attended, theme parks explored—you’d think this game would have me hooked, right? Wrong. The dialogue choices? Ugh. WHY do I have to help Gareth Weasley? The dude’s a walking chaos generator. I just want to tell him to buzz off, but nope—forced teamwork. The gear system? Cool in theory, but the inventory limit is wild. Like, why am I running back to sell gear every five minutes because I can only carry 20 scarves? What kind of wizard doesn't have an Accio Extra Space spell?

And the story? I’m 10-ish hours in, playing on hard, and there’s zero stakes. No tension, no drama—I’m just kind of… there. Also, can we talk about Natsai Onai? She drops this completely irrelevant bomb about “men in power ruining her country,” and I’m sitting here like, wait, am I supposed to do something about this? Or is this just random NPC venting?

At the end of the day, I snagged this for $20 (DLC included), and even at that price, it feels meh. Gorgeous game, sure, but it’s missing the magic. What can I say about We Love Katamari REROLL + Royal Reverie? It’s pure, unfiltered joy in game form! The updated movement controls are smooth as butter (don’t worry, the classic controls are still here for all you purists), and the soundtrack? Absolute fire—A-1 and timeless, just like the original.

I’m talking thumbtacks, household items, humans, and, eventually, entire continents—yes, live humans included (don’t ask too many questions, it’s Katamari logic). The Final Fantasy VII Remake was absolutely incredible! Cloud's portrayal was exceptional, and I feel compelled to commend the game developers and directors for their outstanding work. They took all the essential aspects of Barret's character and amplified them to perfection—truly awe-inspiring.

As for Intermission (no spoilers!), Yuffie's character arc was profoundly moving. It genuinely brought me to tears for the first time in a while. This masterpiece deserves nothing less than an 11/10. Can we get much higher?

500+ hours into a game that feels like it’s trying to gaslight me into thinking it’s still the same one I bought. Nothing was added properly, the beta ended in name only, and what even was the purpose of leaving it if it’s still in this half-baked state?

Rifts? A tedious grind-fest that make me question my life choices. Events? Oh, just 8 of them happening simultaneously, because clearly, chaos = fun. Promo quests? A convoluted mess that feels like trying to file taxes while blindfolded.

And let’s not even get started on the hitboxes. Please, for the love of game design, look me in the eye and explain Beetlejuice’s hitboxes without laughing. You can’t, because they are pure nonsense.

This game is like a friend you’ve known forever who suddenly gets a terrible personality and expects you to still love them. I don’t even know who you are anymore.
