I have never wanted to slam my head into my desk until bits of my brain splatter onto my monitor more than I have while playing this game. Would recommend

I own almost every "classic" Lego game (Star Wars series, Indiana Jones, PoC, etc). I own Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga on over 4 gaming platforms and Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone wars on 3. I grew up on Lego games, with the Star Wars series being my favorite. Thats why I preordered a physical Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition for Switch on November 27th, 2020. I have sat through every delay, watched every trailer, and seen every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ twitter post leading up to this game. I already own the deluxe edition on 2 different mediums (Switch and Steam). And while I have not yet even scratched the surface of this game, I'm already convinced the years I have spent waiting for this game (both knowingly and unknowingly) have been worth it. The graphics are beautiful yet optimized, able to hit constant 60 on high with my measly 1050 for most levels (some dips to around 20 when you get to areas where you need to swap between groups of characters). The gameplay has depth unseen before in the Lego franchise. It's built upon a story loved by tens, if not hundreds, of millions. The voice acting is the best in Lego so far. The humor is nonstop and perfectly fits the vibes you expect from the franchise. I could sit here and mention my minor gripes about infrequent graphical bugs or how the flying mechanics are somewhat underwhelming, but none of those inconsequential flaws detract from the gameplay I have experienced so far. It beautifully weaves together past mechanics in what is easily the apotheosis of Lego games as of now. This is the game I have unknowingly wanted since I turned on my Wii over a decade ago and first slid in the disc for Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Now I am undoubtedly biased, with a combined thousands of hours on Lego games and almost 12,000 hours waiting from the day I bought Skywalker Saga to the day I received it. All I can say to that, is that I would wait another 11,856 hours if I knew this would be at the end.

Fantastic game. The gameplay is perfectly in depth and allows great control over playstyle. Soundtrack slaps. Get it

Yea, its pretty straightforward

de Blob is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated gems in gaming. Having played this game on the wii years ago its sad to see that it really hasn't acquired the large audience it deserves. Charismatic cutscenes with a vibrant art style are sprinkled throughout the game all having a good balance of humor, storytelling, and character without saying a single word; very reminiscent of the classic Lego Games. The levels are surprisingly long (almost a little too much so at times), but usually offer enough challenges to not become tedious. The best aspect of the game however, is its soundtrack. The jazzy, funky instrumentals really bring the whole mood together, and coupled with the very unique use of dynamic music techniques the soundtrack gradually crescendos with the more paint you apply and the specific colors you use. All in all, de Blob is an amazing game that has unfortunately flown under the radar for over a decade, and if you're considering getting it I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The Godfather 2 of video game sequels

As a fan of Enter The Gungeon (almost 500 hours on it as of typing), I was looking forward to the release of this game. Since I'm semi-competent I dont own an apple device I patiently awaited the steam release, and im happy to say it does not disappoint. The gameplay is very enjoyable, but I was more pleasantly surprised by how many returning characters were portrayed (e.g a handful of bosses being references/combinations/straight up upgrades of their Enter The Gungeon counterparts). The game is well worth the money, but fans of the original will find it's accoutrements and repartee more amusing.

Easily one of the best games ive ever played. The depth and possibility is endless and no play through will be the same. Once you get to mid-late game things can also get pretty funny and/or dramatic. The need for sacrifices and near 20/20 vision makes the difficulty fluctuate and in some cases loss is unavoidable, yet on the opposite side of the spectrum certain events can be pretty hilarious; i.e having someone lose both their legs to a pack of manhunting squirrels. Cant recommend this masterpiece enough

After reading some reviews I was pretty weary about jumping into this game, but boy am I glad I did. While I have some complaints overall I'd say this is a pretty good game. On the topic of complaints, here are some of mine:
-Lack of level editor/workshop means the game has pretty little replayability unless you want all achievements
-In the Internet section it tries to act as a platformer which I cant say it did perfectly. Luckily it went back to shooty gun stuff
-Common complaint is the "floaty" jumps, and while that is true I think people are inflating it and using it as an excuse for why they succ

Overall I'd recommend the game, but I hope they add a level editor/workshop support so we can do more after beating the main game

When compared to the other Zup! games this one feels much more active. Zup! XS seems to be much more gameplay oriented than some of the others which are just "click here get achievement". Some of the levels actually got me to think and do some trial and error. I'd for sure recommend this game to any achievement hunters or someone who wants a cheap 1-2 hour long puzzle game
