Hi Derek, I really love Spelunky. I'm wondering if you'd provide a Linux binary for us to use in the future, even if it might not be perfect. Having an alternative to using Proton to run the Windows version would definitely be awesome!

Can we get an easy mode? Non hardcore spelunkers like me won't ever be able to play through the game which is really sad. Also when the game will be available on Nintendo Switch, there will be many more casual gamers who gonna hate that they only will ever see a fraction of the game because only the top 1% capable players will be able to complete it. Easy mode would be: When you die, you can revive your character near the location you died. Or restart the level where you died....

Really struggling to enjoy this game, it seems absurdly difficult compared to the first Spelunky. To the point of actual unfairness.
