Absolutely incredible, captures the spirit of the franchise perfectly. Lots of QoL improvements over the first game, and the same silly dialogue.

Honestly, I can't recommend this game right now. The campaign is amazing. It's very well done and fun to progress through. But endgame is such a horrible slog. Things can oneshot you from off screen and you lose xp, your map progress, and your key to enter the map. There's such low build diversity that it feels like you have to run one of 5 meta builds to really progress. It's just so absolutely punishing that a casual player cannot enjoy it, and even the more hardcore players are annoyed by it. I will update this review as the game evolves - it is only early access, after all.

No stamina. No forced bedtime. Infinite inventory. This is literally the most perfect and stress-free cozy game I have ever played. The professions are super interesting, and the exploration is top notch.

This is such a cute and charming game! This definitely nails the old school Mario nostalgia it was going for. The music and characters are delightful.

While the game stresses that it should be played with a controller, it is still fine to play with mouse and keyboard.

I've played this game since day 1 on EGS, and it has to be one of my favorite games of all time. The atmosphere, the dialogue, the art style, everything is perfect. The card battling is fun and adds a lot of weight to your ooblet choices. The little costumes you can give your ooblets makes it even more perfect. My only complaint is that energy management is extremely rough early on, but it does get a lot better as you unlock things.

Space Skyrim is good.

Systems and the UI, especially the ship builder, could be explained better. But otherwise, it's everything I hoped for.

Absolute perfection.
