One of the best games I have ever played.

The story is amazing and immersive, even the side quests lend a hand to the main story in most cases. Combat in 1v1 situations is fun and requires concentration, although any more than one opponent and it does seems to fall apart a bit. Skills and levelling work really well with lots of ways to customise by choosing different trade-offs.

You really start off with nothing, you have to learn to read, write and use a sword and shield. You can learn alchemy, herbalism, hunting and a few other skills. You find your self investing time actually read books and alchemy recipes, unlocking random chests and doing sword training with the captain. I've never played a game that immersed me into a character as much.

Although everything I have said is good, this game does have a fair few bugs that can really get in the way. 4-5 hours of my 50+ game time where spent either repeating missions because the NPC I had to follow got stuck in rock or spending 10 minutes waiting to get out of jail because a villager came to pick flowers in the middle of a battle field and got hit. The worst one was getting 7 days in jail for "Carrying a dead person on my back", on the castle wall during a night raid which involved stealth killing and the soldiers with me arrested me for it...

As much as I got annoyed at the bugs the rest of the game makes every second worth it. I really hope a sequel comes out soon.
