A very good coop horde shooter set in the Aliens universe. If you love Aliens it has the authentic guns and sounds you know from the films. I was surprised how varied the missions were and there's about 6-8 hours of content if you're fine with only one playthrough on the standard difficulty. There are a lot to unlock and the classes are pretty fun to tinker around with.

You shouldn't expect this to be a full AAA experience though. There's some jank but it wont impact your experience much at all. For the price it's pretty solid as long as you don't expect Aliens: Isolation levels of quality.

One of the prettiest and immersive worlds I've ever seen in a video game. The Ascent suffers from some minor bugs but it does not detract from one of the best twin-stick shooter experiences on the market. If you're a fan of cyberpunk settings this is a game you should check out.

One criticism I have is that the game does not have many enemy variety types and some stats just feel useless. For example, if you don't use heavy guns the balance stat is extremely useless. If you use homing guns the aim stat is worthless, and even then it doesn't need many points to feel good for many weapons. All I felt was necessary was pumping my health and crit rate stats and then just dump the rest elsewhere.

Spoilers ahead about the final boss: The final boss was extremely underwhelming after a really great buildup in mystery. You end up facing waves of enemies as you attempt to use terminals by holding the interact button. This means you cannot do anything else while enemies continue to spawn. It's just really dumb and after that I was really disappointed there wasn't anything else after such an excellent game. TL;DR the final boss was a disappointment.

A beautiful but buggy mess.

CP2077 is the prettiest game I've ever played and runs pretty well considering. Even in the nastiest slums the atmosphere, lighting, and textures are top notch and had me go "Oh my god" several times out loud.

Well, the graphics weren't the only thing making me go "Oh my god". In my first hour I encountered bugs that stopped me from progressing and made me need to restart the entire mission, just by killing enemies too fast! Also the game frequently has character animations jump jarringly from one start position to the next mid-conversation. I haven't encountered bugs others have pointed out yet, but it being this bad means you won't have time to refund when you encounter the worst ones.

I had multiple friends tell me about their intense seizures during the "brain dance" mechanic (unskippable and mandatory). Avoid this game if you are or unsure you are an epileptic.

Dwarves, teamwork, beer, and bugs. Oh and dwarves.

Equal parts cool and charming, Deep Rock Galactic manages to provide a challenging yet thoroughly entertaining experience alongside a kick-ass soundtrack. Nothing gets your heart pumping faster than hearing mission control warn against an incoming swarm as the music kicks in high gear.

Deep Rock Galactic is an extremely feature-rich experience that is continually being iterated on. Rock and stone miners!!
