tl;dr excellent game, well worth the journey, appropriately challenging and interesting!

Ixion surprised me. I was expecting a game about humanity and space and discovery, but got quite a bit more from it than that. It not only delivered on the same tropes and themes I look forward to in sci-fi games, but also adds more for you to think about not only the game and its story but about real life too.

The core city building / management gameplay loop is enjoyable, and it's equally enjoyable how they throw challenges at you to mess up that core loop too.

The side quests are all excellent and interesting and encourage you to explore!

The endgame and actions/decisions you have to make are super interesting. My only gripe would be that the journey is significantly more satisfying than the destination here - the actual ending epilogue (describing what happens to your little space society) is fairly superficial. I don't know how else they could wrap up such a game though so can't ding very much.

i don't know what FromSoft will try to do to match or beat Elden Ring with their next project. They did so much right here!

A friend described this to me as Doki Doki Literature Club + Slay The Spire and I think the analogy is spot on. The card game mechanics are fresh and innovative, the gameplay itself is very fun, and the story is excellent. Highly recommend!

Base game is excellent, lots of replay opportunity with just that. Lots of details that become second nature as you get familiar with it. I haven't gotten any DLCs yet but they do a good job showing you what is/not included in each DLC IN-GAME to help you decide! Definitely recommend

Factorio is an exceptionally high quality game, I find myself comparing the overall dev + QA of this game to others in the same and different genres because it sets the bar so high.

It is also one of the few games I could see myself playing forever. In bursts with friends trying new mods, and regularly by myself trying more complex builds and types of scenarios. I think about this game all the time and flow between REALLY wanting to play it and a casual "yeah, i can sink some time into that today" feelings. It is definitely worth the investment!

bioshock 1 was too spoopy for me, but this game was incredible. what a wonderful sense of atmosphere, and what an intriguing story.

If you're a huge batman fan I'd highly recommend this. Lots of neat canon material and secrets.

Most of it was over my head, but the game is decent (combat is kinda crappy) and learning more about Batman's world was neat!

One of the most challenging and fun games I've picked up. I am a fan of roguelikes in general, though. The gamem ay be insanely difficult for you at first, but that is solely to encourage you to play it more and get better. You'd be surprised how much you can learn every playthrough and how much fun you'll have!

One of the best games i've ever played. It all comes down to skill, with a bit of luck, and no run plays the same way twice.

Awesome game! This isn't just for the achievement - this game has enough to keep you entertained for a long time, especially with the downloadable mods!
