I've removed this game from my account and I refuse to play it again. PUBG is a broken, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cashgrab game with a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ developers and leaders. The lawsuit against Epic and childish, the event pass is a joke and this game is just 100% Anti-Consumer.

♥♥♥♥ PUBG Corp.
♥♥♥♥ BlueHole

Don't buy this trash.

tldr
-Not worth more then $20
+Game finally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ runs like a modern game
-Poor excuse of a remaster
-Hackers are running rampant
+FROMSOFT plz fix
+++++Blighttown is finally STABLE

The Actual Review

The $20 price tag I paid for since I own the original game made the game worth rebuying.

However, while I love the fact the game is finally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimized, this should've been a free overhaul for Prepare to Die Edition with vastly updated visuals and quality of life changes. Not just an EA quality texture update.

As an avid Dark Souls fan I was excited to be able to finally visit Lordran with the performance the game deserves, but this is honestly disappointing. Come on, Bandai and FROMSOFT. Also, while I have not encountered any Hackers, that issue needs to be addressed ASAP.

Give this game access to the Steam Workshop and it'll live forever.

It's just as good as Smash Bros.

This is the ♥♥♥♥ that happens when you take the Kojima aspect of Metal Gear out of Metal Gear.

You take away all the fun of the game.

As of writing this review with 8 Hours logged, I've finally escaped from the first Fort in the game.

Not because I'm slow, but because every NPC is a character that can lead to more quests, loot or fights.

This is a great game and a game worthy of being considered a classic RPG.

It was the year 1991, the Allied Forces of the United Kingdom, Japan and Rome had spent years planning for the largest invasion force in history. The objective: liberate the free world from the tyranical rampancy of the mighty Incan Empire. The UK was to focus on attacking the city-states allied with the Incans, while the Japanese and Romans handled the full force of the Incan fist.

It wouldn't be until the year 1993 when the invasion went underway. Roman forces landed on the beaches of Incan territory under heavy gunfire from all sides, the Japanese had been fighting them for months at this point and were happy to see Allied forces with high morale. Over the course of several bloody years the Incans slowly lost ground, with the Allied forces hot on their tail.

Meanwhile the UK had been sending ground troops to enemy city states to break from the control of the Incans, while the fighting wasn't as intense as it was in the main theatre, the conflct was still bloody. Meanwhile the grand UK fleet had meet with the Incans, who were quickly sent down to the depths of the sea against overwhelming UK ships. The coasts would later wash up the brave and honorable sailors of the Incan navy.

The year 2,000. The war had been long and bloody, but the Allied forces had finally come out on top. The once mighty Incan Empire had fallen under the flags of Japan, Rome and the United Kingdom. Cities are covered in smoke and destruction, the soldiers are all tired and ready to go home. The city states lay in ruins and flames as the land around them goes up in smoke and fire.

The Incan empire was no more, and a new era of Peace and Freedom would be known to EVERY corner of the Earth.

I've always ignored Dark Souls 2 for not being directed by our Lord and Savior Miyazki. But when the community decided to do a Return to Drengliec event, I decided I should make a visit, and my god I'm glad I did.

Don't give up, Skeleton!

The game is surprisingly beautiful, the main Hub is one of the most gorgeous locations I've ever seen in a Souls game when your looking out towards the sea. The art style still looks like Souls, except not as rundown and destroyed like in Souls 1 or Souls 3.

Coming from Dark Souls 3, which I've sunk about almost 200 hours and have done everything, it's nice to play this and run into everything blindly without a clue as to what I'm doing and where to go. The game feels more difficult then Dark Souls 3
(As of this review, I haven't finished the game yet, my comment may change following several more New Game + runs)

I love the little extra details that are included, such as my character catching their breath when I've used up my Stamina or appearing more wounded when I'm near death. The closeup you get of your Bearer of the Curse when accessing your Inventory, Equipment and Stats is fantastic and I really wish that returned in Dark Souls 3.

There's a few things I personally don't like about Dark Souls 2, the main one is the movement feels clunky and not as responsive as it does in Dark Souls 3. Not a big issue but it throws me off sometimes. The boss themes aren't as memorable as in Souls 3, which is a bummer because I've enjoyed several of the bosses so far.

Honestly this game has blown me away with the struggle it's put me through so far, I know most won't agree with me but this is a great entry in the Souls series, it's not as dark and gloomy but it still has some challenge and on it's own, is a well done and great game.

9/10
Definitely something to grab on a sale or something to invest alot of time into.

Siege used to be one of the best tactical team shooters and I loved the hell out of it.

All the changes since Year 4 started have ruined the experience.

What a tragedy.

Listen to the Main Theme of the game, it'll tell you what kind of story your about to experience.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmlCudR3JPk

Once you've listened to it several dozen times, please continue reading the review.

Introduction

If you had the choice, to save the lives of innocents and follow your own moral code, would you do it? Or would you rather blindly follow orders?
If you chose the first option then this is a story for you.

Assassins Creed Rogue takes you on a journey where you cross a line and cannot return. One that pits you against the people you once called brothers. You are no longer an Assassin, and you will spill the blood of your former brothers.

You are Shay Patrick Cormac, the newest of the American Templar Order.

Story and Gameplay

Assassin's Creed Rogue is the last game in the series to be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360, this game runs on Black Flags engine and isn't as breathtaking as Unity or Syndicate. (But your on PC, so it still looks damn amazing. NOW WITH GODRAYS)

Rogue is easily the best game in the series in terms of story and character. Shay is a very vocal character, he expresses his emotions and how he feels about his actions. He shows his anger, hatred, sadness and joy even more so then any other character. The story is top notch and easily is the darkest game in the series, showing betrayal and revenge in a amazing way.

Gameplay wise it's made small improvements over Black Flag, ship handling and combat is the best it'll ever be in the series. Exploration is enjoyable and offers many scenic routes and views to beautiful locations. Combat hasn't changed much from AC4, with the exception of several new weapons and gadgets at your disposal.

Overall

I hold Rogue to be the crown jewel of the series, obviously it was completely shadowed by Unity but most who own this game will say it has the best story in the series and feels like a return to form like AC Brotherhood or AC2. The story is sadly shorter then the other entries but there is still several large areas and collectibles to grab to keep you busy for long after the story is finished.

I strongly believe this game was made with alot of love from the team that made this game, because it just feels solid, fun and enjoyable. If this was given more time to make a longer story, and running on the current engine with Unity and Syndicate. This game would easily top the rest in every aspect.

My rating: 9.5/10
