Nothing is explicitly explained about the world and how it became to be what it is, however the artstyle, soundtrack and atmosphere tells you that it's a very cruel place where you have to escape from, and that's enough explanation.

The gameplay is what you would expect from a puzzle platformer, it has puzzles and they are very fun to solve, many times I was in a situation where the solution was so simple but you had to think logically to solve it that it made me do those "OHHHHHHH" moments, when you realize how dumb you can be for not noticing earlier lmao.
Very fun to play, it's a little bit short for a 10$ game, but if you get it on sale you'll have a good time.

Edit: I just noticed that the description in the Steam page of the game explained what the story is about lmao, the game does not explain this to you until the end of it and even then, it's not very clear who the girl was nor why he was looking for her.
