I've spent quiete some time playing this game.
I'mean like, it isnt that bad and makes a lot of fun if you're in the right guild.

But honestly if you want to enjoy the level 60+ content (raids, pvp) you'll have the spent a lot of:

a) time (having no job works just fine)
b) money (just get addicted to crack or smth like that.. its cheaper, trust me i have spent way more than 100$++)

Trust me if you're likly to waste way too much money on games than you actually should dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play it.
Just like any other F2P-Perfect World-Game it will ruin you, like it did with me.

Love this game. I really had/still having a blast playing the game.
The story takes place after the 3rd game. (Snake Eater)

I'll make a little pro/con:

+ Typical MGS story
+ Typical MGS gameplay
+ Soundtrack (Joy Divison, Laura Brannigan, Hall and Oates..)
+ Sounddesign (Narators, Weapons, Vehicles)
+ Graphics (Scenary, Facial, Weapons)
+ Gunplay in general
+ Onlinecontent fits nicely

- Trying to make MGOnline fit into the Story made it resolve a bit wierd
- Story sometimes feels like its been cut/smth is missing
- Textures close-up (Gras, Ground Textures)
- Lategame/Aftergame consists mostly of redoing mission or grinding FOB-Events

Space Engineers or the Minecraft for adults.

I had a lot of fun playing this game (270Hours). As others mentioned the game is the most fun if you have someone to play it with.

Pro:
+ Build what you want. The only limits are your computing power and your imagination.
+ Dedicated servers with whitelists via Steam-groups
+ Realistic physics
+ Voxel-based Engine / Worlds / Ships (everything is destroyable)
+ Active community / developers
+ Weekly (and usefull!) Updates

/ Some minor bugs

Cons:
- Bad netcode at the moment (they had a better one but reverted it some weeks ago cause of bug-fixing)

MGR: REVENGEANCE or Raiden in his best form.

Pro:
+ Great story
+ Nice eastereggs related to previous Metal Gear-Games
+ Extreme fluent battle/combo's
(Feels like Devil May Cry)
+ Cinematic cutscenes
+ Stunning bossfights
+ Cut your enemy/enviroment in 100+Pieces
