challenging but I don't think it's unfair, love the retro style, feels like it could have been an n64 game except the controls feel good

This game asks a LOT of patience from you, probably more than is fair, but rewards your curiosity with one of the most alive, enormous, and stunningly beautiful worlds you'll ever experience.
Barely any direct narrative is told, but the game's environments tell stories about what happened to this world, and why it is what it is now.

If that sounds interesting to you, then I would highly recommend Rain World.

Extremely satisfying deck-building roguelike.
Rolling dice might seem like it's too RNG-based, but the game revolves around manipulating the RNG to work out in your favor, and the game gives you plenty of opportunity to do so.

Also, don't let the first few hours fool you, because the game has much more content than it might seem to at first, and gets more challenging as you progress. There are 6 characters to unlock, each with 6 episodes, which are runs with unique rulesets that will change how you play the game.

Easily a top 10 game of 2019!

A slow game that's not for everyone, but I like it and you might too

First you mine. Then you get machines to mine for you.
Then you research new technologies. Then you get machines to research for you.
Then you build a factory. Then your factory builds factories for you.

There's always something to do in Factorio, which is why most of the top reviews talk about it like it's crack.
I thought they were exaggerating too, until I spent played it for 36 hours straight the day after I got it.

Worried that it's too complicated for you? It's not. Ultimately, Factorio boils down to a very simple concept: Combining resources to make new, better resources. That said, if you're the kind of player that wants a highly efficient and organized factory, you could spend hours planning, tweaking, and working out ratios in your head.

Either way, Factorio is absolutely worth your time and money. 5/5
