very fun little indie horror game that lasts just over an hour in length and ticks all the right boxes in terms of bone chilling sound design, atmospheric environments and just plain freaking you out, even if it is a bit hard to follow at first. I won't spoil anything but it's definitely worth a try if you're into these types of games. +1

My favorite way to play half life!

Almost all reviews mention bugs, and while there are some, I personally have been lucky to not experience many in my playthroughs. The water effects and ragdoll animations make this my preferred version to play, as the combat feels ever better and punchier with ragdolls. Soldiers slump when shot, zombies recoil backward in death with the blast of a shotgun, I love it. The water looks nice and the game is largely unaffected. Not gonna go too much into detail, it's Half-Life.

If you're a fan of the first Half-Life, give this a shot, if it's too buggy, refund it. No harm done.

the main story sucks but at least it's a fallout game so you can mod in all the stuff that should have been there in the first place. I probably have close to 100 mods running on my game, with a range of utility ranging from visual effects, gameplay tweaks, to adding in items from other games in the series like the 9mm pistol, or brand new ones, like the Exosuits. Dialogue system is ass (can be changed with mods) but the combat feels better than any other fallout game, so there's that. If you go into it with low expectations from a fallout fan perspective, you'll be alright, it's not bad, it's fun, you loot, shoot, craft and fast travel your way around a post apocalyptic new england doing quests and leveling up your lawyer lady or army dude. yup. two choices of what you get to be. in a rpg. yeah. anyways, find ur dumb son and make some memories along the way.

dishonored is a first person immersive sim with a melee focus with a blend of occult-witch/wizard like powers thrown in there to make you feel even more powerful. you'll be coaxed into exploration by the game to find these Runes to upgrade and unlock more of these powers and abilities, and the game world and environment lends to this extremely well as the city and various environments you find yourself in are super detailed and fleshed out. The game encourages stealth, and it makes alot of areas easier, but it's not required, but *kind of* is? if you want the good ending, or certain achievements. It has a beautiful art style, shout out to viktor antonov, the art director who has done some of my favorite games over the years, such as half-life 2 and kingpin: life of crime.

I pre-ordered and played this at launch way back at release on the xbox and I remembered really enjoying it, so I decided to pick it up and play through it again recently and I did a clean hands (complete game without killing anyone) and a ghost (complete game without being noticed by an enemy) playthrough and I had alot of fun using the blink and time stopping powers to evade and work my way around enemies and obstacles, as well as taking out all assassination targets non-lethally. I remembered alot about the game but forgot just enough for the story to grab me the way it needed to, and i enjoyed it, even if some of the plot points can feel a little weak or half-baked. I'm playing it over again now but this time i'm killing everyone i see, i'm looking forward to getting all the combat rune upgrades i didn't get the first time around, and killing all the bad guys in really cool and totally chill ways <3

Unlike any other game I play, I went into it expecting not to enjoy myself (something you should never do) and was so pleasantly surprised! I tend to like to be boots-on-the-ground and in a first person perspective in the games I play, and most of them are exclusively just from that viewpoint. I like to feel like I'M the one shooting the bad guys, stealing the cars, planting the bombs, whatever it is that i'm doing, I like to do it in first person, and I always think it's better that way. With Project Zomboid, the birds eye camera view works perfectly, even if it does take some getting used to with the pop-in from how the vision mechanics work in this game. You know what this is, a zombie survival game where you scavenge for supplies, kill geeks and basically just try to survive while building and fortifying a base of some sort. It's a very addicting and well done gameplay loop in this case, and I've never enjoyed a survival experience quite like this one, and I feel like I still haven't scratched the surface of exploring all the crevices and content this neat little game has to offer. I may update my review when I've played some more, but as it stands I recommend you give it a shot, even if it doesn't look like it'd be for you!
