Its a really fun game, and interesting story. It feels really short though and i was a bit surprised when it ended.

gud game, came a long way since release. the amount of work they put in for free after the disastrous launch is almost unprecedented in this industry.

Great game. If you dont want to wait or spend endless money on caps and nuka cola bottles you can simply manipulate time ingame through manually changing your windows clock.
The controls are abyssmal though. Mobile port shenanigans i guess...
DONT Upgrage the Vault door btw. Your guys cant shoot to the outside and all it will do is draw out any and every raid until they manage to break through.

It is fun, but the pacing is quite a bit off for my taste. You unlock new tech in waves and when you unlock the largest drillship and finally got all the space you might want, you dont really need it anymore, because the story is finished and all you can do is keep upgrading your ship. However there wont be any challenges at this point and there is nothing to explore really.
So be aware, that you wont spend a lot of time in this game, when you buy it.

Runs buttery smooth and then just freezes everytime i get too close to the first settlement. Guess im gonna come back to it after a few more patches.

Its a cool little game. The balancing is a bit off, but i really like the gameplay loop. What this game really needs, is proper mod support. Its basically made for modding.

Considering the small ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game got about its poor optimization and bad fps drops, it ran surprisingly well on my 5+ years old hardware. With the adaptive scaling i was almost always around 60fps (on low settings to be fair). What threw me off, was mostly the weird parry timings. I consider myself a veteran of soulslike games and generally enjoy playing games on harder difficulties, but i just couldnt get the parry timings right here.
Also i was a bit disapointed that there was pretty much only one "major" planet. I didnt feel like exploring a lot on the other world or even come back for anything but story missions. The fact, that you still cant find anything useful in the world but cosmetics and a couple of healing upgrades didnt help.
Overall i liked the story part of the game up until the "big unexpected turn of events" happens, to avoid spoilers. The motivations of that specific character and his reasoning make no sense at all. It feels like they noticed the game was way to short and they had to put some more stuff at the end. The writing is bad and lazy and illogical. Also the end is just a sort of setup for the likely third game that is to come. I found myself sitting there and asking myself, "that was it?"
But overall nice entertainment, if you can get it on a discount. Defo not worth 60 bucks.

Really nice vibes, but still needs a lot of work.
I like the artstyle and the Gameplay between "exploration" and managing your tavern. But for now there is still a lot of content missing. The dev cleverly build in a lot of locations that seem interesting but are blocked off or empty for now. It serves as a nice teaser for content to come though.
But the pace of the game and the balancing is quite a bit off for now. Leveling up and aquiring skill points and new recipes feels _very_ slow past level 10. And since you pretty much unlock every major tech until lvl12 iirc, you pretty much only level up for perks that give marginal improvements (like +10% to drink and food prices) and new dishes. And considering how long the leveling takes and how many of these minor perks can be unlocked it feels really like a looot of work for the rewards you get on each levelup. I would love to see the Skill tree unlock perks that have an actual impact on gameplay so leveling actually feels somewhat rewarding. But for now there are 2 skill trees yet to come, so i hope there will be some rebalancing in the near future. The game is still in EA after all.
Also building and expanding your tavern feels very grindy rn, since you need A LOT of money and materials.
