Early Access Review
Early-Access games often suffer from insular communities - there's an initial rush of people who love the idea of a game and they'll defend developers to no end. Game developers get too cozy, often forgetting they're paid for their product. Regardless if a game is full release or early access, customers have paid for the product and they expect continued development. In the case of Marauders, it's a great concept but updates/patches/hotfixes have come out far too infrequently. Games like this need a consistent, steady stream of updates. There's no reason we shouldn't see a big update once every 3-4 months with weekly patches & hotfixes as needed. I loved it while I played it but the bugs drove me nuts and the developers clearly let their project die. What a shame.

This game is nice addition to the array of extraction shooters on the market. I liked the LZ system, I like that you have a chance to go back and retrieve your gear. The community is solid, most people are friendly and charitable. Once you have the basics figured out, it becomes a joy to play. The AI can be a pain at first, but moving beyond the starter town helps a bunch. This game is still very rough around the edges, there are a lot of much needed improvements spanning optimization to core game play bugs to balancing. I thoroughly enjoy it, I recommend it if you're willing to stay along for the ride. The current road map outlines major content updates releasing twice a year, with the full release planned for 2027. I hope that they expedite a bit and deliver ahead of schedule, but it should be noted the game only contains a fraction of the planned content.

War Thunder is one of my favorite games of all time. I see many individuals complaining about "bugs" and "pay to win" issues. Quite frankly, the game is free, you can accomplish what you want to without paying. Gaijin needs to make money somehow. I have no problem spending money on a free to play game that has given me so many hours of fun. Yes, it can take a long time to get high tier tech, but the low tier tech is just as fun.

HOI4 is a great game, don't get me wrong but it's got a ton of issues. If you're expecting to have a 1:1 WW2 experience, you're not going to. For some reason the devs think countries should resort to exploits in order to have a functional economy. You'll never produce real, war time quantities, and if you are able to, you are most likely failing to produce something. I just wish they would overhaul the industry system.

One of the most enjoyable and relaxing games out there. This game is for people who enjoy dumping a lot of time into a game that has little boundaries (except for the few that servers may put in). There's a healthy diversity of servers out there to try. My personal favorite are the USG servers, they have the best configs and mods to make the game more playable than vanilla.

This game is frustrating at first. It's important that you realize each character has ups and downs. There aren't any inherent and defined advantages to one character or another. You just need to find your champion that fits you. Once you hit 30 hours you start to learn the game and will find it equally enjoyable and enraging.

Rust is a game which a huge skill curve. It's only going to be as fun as the people you're with. Once you have good people and start gaining skill for your desired role, you're going to enjoy the game. Every community is toxic, but that's what makes Rust, Rust. I highly recommend it, start on a modded server to get down the basics, check out a death match PvP server, and then explore all that Rust has to offer.

Great game but a broken mess. Mod owners + Game devs have 0 clue what they're doing and whilst the game sure is fun, especially with certain mods, you will likely find yourself dedicating time to troubleshooting issues. Also, there are large balancing issues ridden throughout the base game and many mods, just be aware that it is not the epitome of historical accuracy. Still recommend though, I've had many fun matches on this game.
