Metal: Hellsinger falls into the realm of mediocrity; despite offering some enjoyment through its brief storyline, it fails to justify its full-price tag due to its remarkably short duration.

Initially impressed by the demo, I eagerly anticipated the full release, only to find that the game felt repetitive, lacking any meaningful progression.

The addition of a roguelike game mode turned out to be a major letdown. Instead of the satisfying experience of gaining upgrades and growing more powerful, it felt like a regression – essential skills and weapons were stripped away, leaving players to fight for basic game elements.

Overall, Metal: Hellsinger leaves much to be desired, especially for those seeking a more substantial and fulfilling gaming experience.

Really interesting concept, but really shallow gameplay.

Maybe pick up the game when its on sale and you have friends that love similar games, but playing it alone is just boring.
Too much grinding in a empty world for no real gain.

Combat/hunting system is such a basic concept that just feels bad.
Building is just a grind that takes too long for no gain.
NPC's feel like static objects that don't really do anything

One of the best rougelites I have ever played.It has amazing combat, good story, upgrades that have an actual benefits that change the combat and the game itself has an amazing art style.This is one of the games that I would definitely recommend to anyone that likes rouge-like gamesAnd if you care about achievement hunting then they are not locked behind really hard conditions that would make it impossible for casual players. Some achievements might take a bit longer because they are locked behind the main story, but in my opinion it's worth it.

A really good rougelike game. I personally really like the additional need to manage your cult and not just make one dungeon run after another all the time.

The combat feels good, the mechanics are really solid. You have a few weapons with different effects that you can unlock, plus curses that you can cast in the dungeon. The dogging feels good and is really useful in your runs.

It's visual art-style is really good. In dungeons easy to differentiate enemies and hazards from the level design. Each stage of the game has enemies that offer a bit different approach to the dungeon. And each boss feels different enough so they give a challenge when you first encounter them.

The characters are good looking and the villagers in your cult can be customized with different appearances that you unlock while playing the game.

Overall really fun game, would definitely recommend playing if rougelikes are for you.

Adds so much more to already good game. Two new characters, new enemies and bosses. Many new items and special items. Love everything about this dlc.

The early game was really fun and I enjoyed it a lot. But the more you play the game you reach to the point that you feel like playing any other MMO out there except the late game is even more boring that you could actually expect.

And in the beginning the game was full of bug, broken economy with no intention to fix it and riddled with bots.

First of all I must tell you that it might be a hassle to get this game to work. So take that into account before buying this game. There is a step-by-step guide available on steam under "guides" tab.

The game plays well and has a good story behind it. But it is really short and the decisions you make don't really make a difference in the story. There are some quick time events that makes you stay alert during the story. If you are looking for a engaging story that really feels like you are taking control of the storyline then the game is not for you. But if you are looking for a casual story game then I would recommend buying this game when its on a sale.

If you are looking to buy this game for the infinite repeat deck builder like something similar to Slay the Spire, then this game is not like that. It has elements of a deck builder that are really fun, but this game is so much more. And is best experienced going in blind, Didn't really expect this game go in the direction it did. But really liked it in the end. Just give it a shot, you just might love it as well.

Now they added a classic build a deck mode as well, so much of a reason to play it again or start playing it. But still will recommend completing the story mode as well.
