It really has nothing to do with Metal Gear Solid tactical spionage action, but that doesn't mean it's a bad game. It even has its stealth moments.

It is basically a Hack n' Slash with decent soundtrack, decent characters, good voice acting, good graphics even for nowadays, decentgameplay and decent progression of the story/plot.

Don't expect to use guns aside from some grenades and rocket launchers. But as you defeat bosses, you unlock different melee weapons (their weapons) to spice the way you cut through everything a bit more.

Fight Villains with crazy ideals. So crazy they even look like real life people. Amazing, huh?/

And now that this game is not new it has a lower price. What are you waiting for?

It's been quite a lot of years now since this release so you probably know you are either going to buy this game or not. If you are, you like challenges. If you are not, you probably are not a fan of challenges.

Still, there are some things you should know about the game and the most important one, which you probably know by now is that this game IS A BAD PORT. Thankfully, there are fixes for it which makes things much, much better.

The second think you should, but probably know is that IT WILL MAKE THINGS MUCH BETTER IF YOU HAVE A CONTROLLER. I can totally play DS2 with keyboard and mouse. I actually prefer it that way. But DS1 doesn't have the same ease with configuring key bindings than DS2, probably because of the bad port. I never really bothered in going too deep in trying to customize keys for DS1 though.

Now, if you are willing to get this game, you have probably heard from friends that this game is AMAZING, IT IS AWESOME, THAT IS IS INCREDIBLY HARD, and I must be the one to tell you that IT REALLY IS NOT ALL THAT. The game is really good, but the bad port, some bugs that still exist and will probably never get fixed, the weird and clunky way to find players online (it may take a really long time for the game to notice you are online), some weird hitboxes (altough not as much as DS2) that will make you shout "THAT'S BULLSH-" and fps issues even on decent specs, specially a place named Blighttown may start to impress you.

The game isn't really hard. It even has messages on the floor to guide you through the commands! And I mean, the game is quite punishing and challenging, but it is really not that hard. This game most of the times offers a "hardcore" way to deal with things (mostly go melee against anything) and a "cheap" way to deal with things (basically with a Bow, but the game sometimes offers spots that you just can get nearly untouched and finish monsters and even bosses, for example the Capra Demon). Maybe such cheap ways exist just so that people don't complain too much about the difficuly and prorgess, though. Going full melee in the early game is quite tricky with lack of health, stamina and knowledge of enemy movesets. This game is one of those games in which the first playthrough is very interesting, frustrating, rewarding and everything altogether. If you are playing the game for the first time, I suggest you practice your reaction timing, and don't read any wiki or guide about it unless you are really having a tough time. This is the kind of game you will have suffered a lot to finish for the first time, but know that you learned so much you will probably want to start over just to have smoother, "better" progression and exeperience. And maybe try to PvP.

Also, regarding the game being too hard. You might want to use a Tower Shield and go Tanky, then you will see things getting much, much easier. Just don't expect to be unbeatable. You will still need to roll and dodge and parry efficiently, but the game will be much less punishing if you go through that path. If you want to play a light, glasscannon Dexterity build, then you will need to be much better at dodging and such if you don't want to die a lot.

PvP sometimes has hackers. PvP is really poorly balanced in DS1. The only thing that matters is level bracket. Meaning that in your early games you may find people who completely upgraded their pyromancy abilities (which can be upgraded parallel from levels) and one shot you. Or people who have progressed just a little on the story but already unlocked powerful Sorceries and have made dedicated builds that will one shot you with Soul Spear if you don't pay attention or roll properly. But because the PvP is also poor on the lag issue, you may see yourself rolling and get hit, even backstabbed (the famous lagstabs, which still happens even in DS2, that has a much, much better online system. But still not great when it comes to lagging, or maybe the hitboxes are still bad for the quick time event of backstab).

So now you know. If you buy this game, you probably won't regret it. But I suggest doing so when with a discount. The game is fun and all, but it is crearly not all that and you will know what I am talking about once you play it. But well, not everything is perfect, right?

CS:GO 評論
Cons: It's 2020 and you are still playing CS when there are far better and more realistic (and rewarding) FPSs out there. Gunplay feels outdated as ♥♥♥♥.
Pros: Drop skin cases when they are released so that you sell them and buy other games.

Even though I bought for discount nowadays I feel like an idiot for still having about 4 copies in my inventory that was supposed to gift for friends to play with, but felt embarrassed of doing so because the game was so unfinished. And the other issues with the company itself won't help its popularity.
Still kinda fun to play if you take in consideration that it is buggyish.

Loading Simulator. Because you will load a lot to begin, then find a game, then someone will quit, then fail the mission for good, then load back into free mode, then load another mission again.
Oh yea, still with hackers everywhere, but now they call themselves "modders".

"tl;dr if you like d2 this game is actually pretty good, you just need to farm and grind a lot.

As most people say, it's easier to compare this game to D2 than D3. Semi big wall text incoming.

Some stupid people say that the game is a ripoff/clone/whatever of D2. What they don't get is that they decided to put REFERENCES of the game inside it.

Graphics are not that pretty but not too bad, gameplay is decent, lots of possible builds, rather boring campaign, and you are going to spend your "lategame" essentially farming to get better gear so you can kill harder monsters so you can farm better gear with them. So yea, eventually it gets repetitive, but which online RPG doesn't? I play it just to make fun builds and see them working. It's not pay to win, but personal inventory/warehouse is rather small and they mostly make money out of selling stashes and skins for gears.

It is fun, but with a party of people it is much better. Trading in the game is terrible. There is a trade chat full of spam bots, you can't set up shops, there are no auction houses. "Softcore Standard" difficulty market is flooded with decent/top gear so selling your average stuff is very difficult.

The currency is not "gold" but consumable orbs that you use to enchant gear (as in blue:magic, yellow:rare etc just like Diablo) with prefixes and suffixes, and this is the best way to make top quality stuff. Since those items are consumables, they are much used, meaning good items will cost hundreds/thousands of those.

To me, personally, PvP is a central part of bolstering replayability when grinding has already become too boring, but this game basically denied it due to terrible balancing. In this game most attacks are spamfests making it a huge mess. It's not with long cooldowns as in mobas, so it's harder to make it work. I guess it was just not made for it. To me, that's sad.

I know that if you level up properly you can reach endgame in less than a week but I wish you could start doing the semi-endgame right away instead of clearing campaign again for every char you make, specially because this game has Seasons separated from the Standard game, meaning that with every new season, if you want to experience the new stuff, you need to make a new char. This is good to give a fresh new experience, but do it many times and repetition starts to hit you with a new shape of "oh great, now I gotta make ANOTHER one" + the repetition of killing stuff over and over for better loot.

Only play this game if you like to farm and grind. A lot."
Now, things have been nerfed to the ground, you still can't maps right away and patches have decreased performance more and more. It was already starting to lose fun, now even more. Very low player base active, less than 10 thousand when I checked, when it had much more. Even though it's skin only, they still do loot boxes as if it were a cool thing, tho. Very cringe.

Couldn't stand more than 2 matches because it has nothing of "fast pacing", plus riding a dragon includes "flying" but you don't actually fly, since there are high mountains that you can't cross. Playing this game as a "dragon riding" game was a frustrating experience, and as a MOBA, it was a "nothing new" like experience,
