Expectation: Cool dragon vs dragon game with great graphics.

Reality: The gameplay is a simpler version of ACE Online PvP, but with great dragon graphics. Also apart from skills, everyone has the same attacks, kinda lame.

Sort of recommend??

If you don't have Dark Souls 1 on PC, you should get this. If you have Prepare to Die and want to play PvP, I am not so sure. It's not that it doesn't have active players, but the PvP is MinMax sweaty nerds lagstabbing left and right! Also, a lot of improvements over Remastered could have been done, but weren't. Game is almost uglier than Prepare to Die!

Dark Souls is a challenging game, not as hard as people say, but there is a certain amount of BS and cheese at moments, and the hitboxes are not great.

This is honestly a 6/10 once your nostalgia goggles are worn off. DS2 is 7/10 and DS3 is 8/10.

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's alright, but not great. The crafting part is really misleading as you must essentially use what is suited to your hero. Want to use guns? It's with a hero that uses guns. Want to use melee? Only with a hero for that. I once played a BR MOBA on my phone where the weapon you picked actually had the movesets and ultimates in it, meaning that if you wanted to job between melee to wizard, all you had to do was to find the proper weapon on the ground. Not here, you are bound to your hero skills forever, so good luck if you enjoy a hero that is out of meta and get stomped.

The game is good but calling it HD edition is just too much. Graphics are somewhat worse than the other PC version I got that had Ubisoft in it, and that version also allowed me to configure my controller!

The port and Remaster are meh. The game is great. Overall 6/10 but it feels higher because RE4 is a good Action Survival Horror. And aiming with the mouse is neat.

Cool game but it refuses to make South American servers which would help increase its playerbase. Also somewhat p2w if you don't go through a grindy proccess.

Core gameplay is very repetitive, but the war in it makes it still somewhat interesting. Go to point, stay there a while, either do that to capture a point or release a wall that prevents vehicles. Cap more points till timer is off to get control of location for a while, rinse and repeat. It's the shooting that makes it fun, which is decent, but ruined for players like me due to ping.

I won't make a long review because I think it's not worth my time.

Last time there has been news posts on this game was last year and this should give you a hint that playing this is not a great idea.

Most of the game has been translated, so the complaints about being in Russian are almost invalid. To me the problem was that getting in-game currency was way too slow, because there are mostly vets only, the auction house is filled with expensive stuff, and leveling up and gathering resources is way too slow. This means that the most attractive factor they advertise, like RPG elements (points in Str, Luk, etc) are hard to notice and crafting (build new gear, but you get stuff too slowly).

Also, they said about a welcoming community that replied in English and within hours no one answered none of my questions.

You can do lots of quests do get some money and resources but the rewards are quite underwhelming and are very hard for new players to get. I got a total of around 100coins during my gameplay because I had other stuff to do so I didn't have time to repeat the "big" coin mission too often, then broke my "leash" on my spinning artificial rod, and it costs around 150 for a replacement!

Also, the controls and movement are weird, you cannot walk while reeling, moving the rod to the sides while fishing to counter is kinda delayed.

Overall, there are other better (but not so great) games, like Fishing Planet, that still are better than this. You might prefer this one if you dedicate more, but I personally don't think it is worth it, specially since news hadn't shown up for more than a year. And this was the short review!

Imagine inviting a person in the same room, in the same connection, to a game, and you still lag even though everything else, including other games are just fine, but this one doesn't because they removed LAN option.

The first one is much better if you use a FOV command and minimap plugin. Plus you can import from OG to Enhanced, but not the opposite.

Wish I could refund the money back to my friend who got it for me during the hype. It was a little fun, but soon very boring, very repetitive, and custom lobbies are still not arrived for regular players. It's a fad that died. Most of the time you play on the same levels.

This game is basically developed by 5 people, and is in an Early Access state working better than most Released AAA games. This already speaks volumes on the quality of the game!

I must also add that it was with this game that I consolidated on my mind the importance of a CHIMNEY!! I just closed the whole hut without any open entries with a campfire inside and started to have hot smoke accumulated everywhere, dealing damage over time on me with a "Smoked" debuff! Now building chimneys became one of my main distractions hahahaha

The gameplay is solid, it's not lifechanging, but it's very good and very entertaining. It's a Survival game, but I guess you can say that ditching out some annoyances from Survival genres is kinda lifechanging! It is good to not worry about thirst and having to use the toilet or sleeping every now and then. You just gotta eat to get a Stamina and HP buff, and that's it! Enjoy the game!

Combat is quite solid. If you block at the proper time, they get a 'stunned' state in which you always deal 1 or 2 crits. Some weapons have heavy attacks, but not all. I kinda with they all did. You can also sneak behind ppl and deal some extra dmg when hitting their backs, without silly cutscenes being played.

I hope to see more improvements over Combat and Building Interactiveness (I kinda want to see some contraptions, and be able to set up a proper 'dodge' button, because right now you gotta first block, then press jump+direction to roll, and this means I almost never remember to do it comfortably). Also, almost everything that would use rope/glue kinda uses leather. I kinda wish I didn't have to hunt boars so often, but man, the way it is, it is already worth the price! And it's so accessible!
