1. I do not accept friend requests from private profiles. I also remove friends who's profiles go to private, unless I know the reason and it's not a permanent switch.
2. I use SteamRep.com to check on profiles before accepting. If anything is amiss there I will not accept.
3. If we don't have games in common, played often I won't accept FR. It's nice to have things in the activity feed we can both enjoy. If I cannot see your games and games played activity, I will not add you. Having friends in common is a + but not necessary.
4. Serial friend droppers and re-adders, thumbs up/watch video beggars, achievement cheaters and vac bans need not apply, thanks.
