I loved the game, it was an interesting pick and I'm definitely going to go on to complete the other instalments in the series. When I'd initially started playing this game, I was immediately put off by its incredibly high difficulty setting regardless of selected difficulty, and because of it, I shelved the game for many years until coming back determined to finish the job. Once I found and set up a proper build, the HCHC difficulty was a piece of cake.

The one reason I cannot recommend this game for is if you're getting it to 100% it. One of the achievements requires you to kill 500.000 monsters; my post-endgame farming character had to accumulate over 460.000 of this 500k (3 playthroughs + challenges only came up to around 40k) and all of the spiders lost in this genocidal rampage will echo through eternity (as I've probably culled its species by at least three quarters).

The person in charge of this achievement should have their independent thinking privileges revoked.

Aside from that, I'm anxiously waiting to see what the sequels have in store!
