runs smooth as butter now

The floor won't load

Game suggests that I downgrade my graphics driver in order to play. Ignored it and it ran fine for 50 minutes. Then, my game starts to artifact horribly.

Closed the game and refunded

If you liked spending many hours trying to get Fallout 3 to run smoothly, you'll love this game

the least necessary remake ended up being the best one. alright

Good game marred by occasional crashing and god-awful performance (especially bad since the game is tied to the frame rate). Graphics seem like a down-grade from Nioh 2, AI followers get stuck on objects, and the overall feel of the game is rushed and unpolished. The gore is also absent in this game which is really disappointing (probably time/money/social credits constraint).

Despite all the negatives, there are enough positives that outweigh them. I don't think it's fair that keyboard warriors are review bombing because they can't put a square peg in a round hole. The gameplay itself is totally solid and rewarding once you figure out the mechanics. The choreography in cutscenes is also good if you're into Wuxia.

Get yo stinkin ahh to Gamestop and spend $30 on a cheap controller, then maybe you can get past the first boss lol

Not terrible, but maybe the first game set my standards too high. They pretty much acknowledged in a dev video that CoH 2 was a bad game, yet they repeat everything that was wrong with it?

Game runs great, but looks like an upscaled mobile game. Voice acting and SFX are very tame and boring compared to the first game. Not that it matters, but the main menu UI is hilariously bad. I almost thought I launched an indie game from 2010 by accident.

Campaign is actually fun, but can't really stomach the fact that I paid an extra $20 or so for a few multiplayer skins. Had to refund. Game is probably worth $40 at most in its current state. Maybe less. I am sad.

If you can name a better zombie survival game, then I will gladly call you a liar
