If you like space exploration sandboxes but don't want to get too bogged down in the simulation part (i.e. Elite Dangerous, Space Engineers) this game is perfect.

When it first came out I was it's biggest critic, going so far as to pirate the game just to see how bad it was. Now, (probably sooner than now but I started actually playing it for this current patch) this game is absolutely fun and fantastic. It's got building elements on both the ground and on your ship (specifically the frigate), an easy, medium and hard mode presets for all varying styles of play (you can also manually change specific things in the difficulty menu). The multiplayer is just the right amount to make you enjoy the game with friends but also easily playable alone. Usually my friends and I just sit in discord doing random ♥♥♥♥ until one of us finds an event and we all jump there.

This is a fantastic game and I actually respect Hello Games for putting so much time and effort into this game through ALL FREE UPDATES. I am greatly awaiting their next game. Though I won't pre-order it, I have great expectations for their next game.
