If you decide to play this game, make sure to turn off "Chromatic Aberration" in the settings; it greatly improves the game's appearance!

If you enjoy darker stories, this game is a good choice. The gameplay is straightforward, and the puzzles are rather simple. Unfortunately, the game tends to provide instructions constantly, which can be a bit annoying. Let me think for myself! Nevertheless, the world is beautiful! Each level is visually stunning, clearly crafted with love.

The storyline reminds me of some books I read as a kid/teen, such as Krabat or The Neverending Story, giving me some sweet nostalgia.

Stiff facial expressions, but the voice acting is amazing. Unfortunately, some in-game decisions, like leaving a torch behind when light is crucial for survival (story-wise), seem forced from a gameplay perspective and break the immersion every now and then, reminding you that you are just playing a game. These small issues could've easily been improved with better reasoning and more logical actions. Gameplay and story clash with each other every now and then. The enemy AI is as smart as a rock (walking around a barrel loses their aggro, for example). Maybe I'm just nitpicky. If you don't mind minor spoilers, I recommend Joseph Anderson's review on YouTube; he explains perfectly how I feel about the game. (First TLDR in the video is spoilerfree)

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the overall experience and recommend it for those seeking a great story with likable characters!

**EDIT** After playing the second part, Plague Tale Requiem: It's a must play if you have played Innocence! It concludes the story perfectly and fixes all the small gripes I had with this first game. Both games combined form an epic tale which one shouldn't miss!

Undertale catches you off guard with its weird humor, lets you pet dogs, and introduces you to some cool skeletons. It boasts a great story, amusing pixel art, and top tier RPG soundtracks. Even Sans from Undertale makes a cameo in this game. Did I mention you can pet dogs? A delightful and heartwarming RPG with standout characters, though a certain yellow dinosaur might be the exception. Certain Bossfights are not too easy even, especially on a certain route for a certain ending, if you like some challenge. Recommended!

In the final charge against the great evil, 67 ponies valiantly sacrificed their souls, their collective bravery illuminating the battlefield. Their selfless act paved the way for victory, ensuring that their sacrifice was not in vain. As a reward for their noble steeds.. I mean deeds, these courageous ponies ascended to the heavens, their spirits forever honored for turning the tide against the evil force of darkness. Rest in peace comrades!

This is the perfect squirrel sacrificing simulator!

Highly recommended if you enjoy card games, weird games, games with tons of secrets and/or unique aesthetics. Best played blindly, any Google search might ruin the experience!

Celeste pleasantly surprised me, as someone who dislikes challenging platformers. The main story was fair, enjoyable, and doable. The side content proved to be difficult and not exactly my preference, yet I did it for the sake of 100% completion, I guess I'm just that stupid. Grinding for all achievements is a true test of endurance.

The game has butter smooth controls, cool tech, beautiful pixel art, and unique level gimmicks, making each stage a great experience. The well-designed difficulty curve transforms hard challenges into achievable feats. The gorgeous music enhances the atmosphere greatly. Despite my hate for hard platformers, Celeste left a positive impression. Highly recommended if you enjoy the thrill of jumping and the inevitability of dying!

Recommended if you are looking for a nice stealth turn-based game with replayability!

Invisible Inc. combines cyberpunk stealth with a gameplay mix reminiscent of 'Deus Ex meets XCOM'. Procedurally generated levels and diverse agents with unique abilities offer a dynamic experience, while the cyberpunk aesthetics invoke the atmosphere and stealth gameplay of Deus Ex.

While the story is minimalistic, Invisible Inc. is a great game for fans of turn-based strategy games. Simply a great espionage experience with stylish aesthetics. The inclusion of game modes like Endless or Time Attack adds replayability and requires a different approach than the normal or advanced mode, which is great. Every playthrough on a different difficulty, I had to change my tactics to succeed.

If you and a buddy of yours enjoy Escape Rooms and puzzles, then this game is a great choice. It offers a short but enjoyable gaming session with a friend (takes about an hour or two). It's cheap and nice value for it's price! It's a great entry point to the 'We Were Here' series (Together with their oldest first title, which is free, try it out!). All 'We were here' games are really fun, so make sure to check them out. They also have a little connected story. Recommended!

Limbo is a dark and unforgettable masterpiece. Minimalist in design, its haunting atmosphere and clever puzzles create an amazing experience. Without using a single word, it tells an emotional story.
Even for someone who's not really into platformer games, Limbo was a joy to play. The difficulty is just right.

Limbo is a timeless classic and simply a must-play.

If you're a fan of escape rooms, this game is an excellent choice, especially if you like playing with a friend.
If you're unsure about purchasing it, you can start with the first game, 'We Were Here,' which is available for free on Steam. However, for the complete experience, it's a good idea to grab the bundle containing all the 'We Were Here' games. This way, you'll have the entire adventure and plenty of cooperative puzzle fun for hours.

"We Were Here Forever" builds upon the previous games and is quite the improvement. The graphics are much better, the puzzles are more challenging and enjoyable, and the game offers a much longer gameplay experience. It's the pinnacle of the 'We Were Here' series. Highly recommended!

Similar to the first 2 games, 'We were here together' brings quite some enhancements in various ways. The graphics have received another upgrade, the puzzles are way better and more complex and of course enjoyable, and the game offers a longer gameplay experience. The storyline is continued and we find out more about Castle Rock and it's curse.

It's a great choice for fans of escape room games. I would recommend purchasing a bundle that includes all the 'We Were Here' games.

If you're unsure about purchasing this one, consider trying out the first game since it's available for free.
