One of the best RTS games made. Well balanced mix of huge scale, innovative and fun units and wide variety of strategies. Difficult and in-depth while still having intuitive and fun gameplay. Still playable through Forged Alliance Forever mod. Please, make a remake of this game!

Fixed enough of the performance and desync issues for game to be playable. Interesting gameplay with variety of strategies, that are actively balanced between patches. Ongoing development adding new features to the game, although with the price of paying for DLC for full experience. Good graphics and great soundtrack.

Not realistic enough.

For a game released in 2016, the multiplayer experience is atrocious. You start by going to a server browser that doesn't display every server unless you check a box for "no password" filter. Then you try to join a server, but as every server shows games as "starting" even when they are in fact already "running", you accidentally try to hot join a server which already has an ongoing game. However after finally getting in-game you get desynced because you forgot to use "clear cache" function in the game's launcher, that you have to use every time you want to join a new multiplayer game and not desync.

Of course Paradox's games are focused on singleplayer, and multiplayer is probably fit for playing with friends with whom you could rehost easily, but maybe in the fourth iteration of a game franchise the multiplayer could be a bigger focus for the developers? For multiplayer alone I am giving this game a negative review. Paradox should stop pumping out new games and DLC on their outdated engine, and focus instead on developing Clausewitz 2 with proper multiplayer support and performance expected of a modern game.

Paradox has taken steps to fix issues with the game, such as lag and bad AI. A lot of expensive DLC, but still, the game is one of the best 4x space strategy games. Great soundtrack, good graphics and fun gameplay.

A realistic and brutal depiction of life in the middle ages.

Good 2D space sim, similar to Escape Velocity Nova, but more of a roguelike since your goal is to progress deeper and deeper into the galaxy into increasingly hostile star systems.

Best mod available on Steam.

I went too fast and the train derailed. 11/10.

Cyberpunk game that is kind of like a mix between Mirror's Edge and Deus Ex. Linear and pretty short story, nice graphics, good soundtrack and relatively fun combat.
