If you want a new duke/doom style retro fps shooter, this one is amazing. The levels, weapons and enemies are all amazing. The soundtrack can be a little lack-luster but it's never annoying or in your way. I see a lot of people having issues with the resolution. I have a multi-monitor computer and it runs just fine and I've never had any graphic or fps issues.

The rocky launch was met with a very dedicated team that were actively trying to remedy all the problems they could. I haven't really fallen in love with the design of most of the monsters in this game, but the game itself is solid and shows a TON of potential. I'm definitely going to keep playing plenty more of this. If you like Monster Catcher games, this is an excellent one to check out.

It's such a simple little game but it's so wonderful and calming. This game will raise your spirits and make you feel less alone in the world.

I really don't understand all the hate for this game. I really love a game to relax to. Explore, build, learn and with enough difficulty to make it FEEL like an adventure. I don't know what a lot of people were expecting but I got what I was buying for and I'm a big fan. I hope they continue to release more content for it.

Another great adventure from the TellTale team. If you liked the movie versions of the Guardians than you'll love this. While they make looks a bit different, the personalities and voice lines are spot on. The story will drag a LOT in the middle and the ending is probably the weakest one I've seen yet from TellTale but it's still worth a buy if you have the interest.

Also like a lot of the newer entries in the TellTale series, the music is amazing and super well placed.

I highly recommend this game. It's a hilariously fun old school mecha shooter. This game runs fine however getting it to actually look right (resolutions, graphics card settings etc.) can be a real nightmare. I can almost promise you that you will need to spend a little time tweaking settings and downloading add-ons to get this going properly but it is worth the effort. Here is a little more detail:

Graphics: Dated and horrible all things considered. The upside here is that both for it's time and even today, you are going to see something different than you are used to with most games. It's not non-stop neon and it's not shades of brown. This game has some very different environments and each level fairly unique while remaining within it's theme.

Music: If you are cool with some anime-inspired music and 90's techno-military (think Command and Conquer) than the soundtrack here is well done. Fits in with the game nicely and it's terrible on it's own.

Story: Nonsense. Utter nonsense. Honestly, don't even bother trying to fit the pieces together. This game experienced a bunch of content cuts and I don't think the writers were particularly experienced when this game was made. This game was not made to be taken seriously.

Dialogue: Amazing. Oh sure the game will try to make you care about the story but more likely than not, you will find yourself immediately forgetting what the plot is and laughing at all the cheesy and adult lines between the characters.

Characters/NPCs/Development: Almost none of these characters are memorable save for maybe the main character. Thankfully you can kill most of them if you feel like it. The design isn't great. It is an old game and it shows. Almost everybody looks like palette swaps of everybody else. The characters don't really develop or grow in any meaningful way.

Gameplay: Think dungeon crawler. The levels are well made but the enemies will constantly pop up and insta-crit you. Most of the enemies pause when you shoot them though so if you know where they are coming from you can give them the slip.

Overall, if you can get it working it's a fun cheap thrill and I totally recommend it for people who want something a little different that they don't have to take seriously at all.

This game has a ton of potential but it's been in beta for a while now and it still feels like it should be considered alpha. This game is barely playable if at all in it's current state and while I don't mind a kickstarter, this game doesn't deserve to be making any money on steam yet.

A fairly limited strategy/management game yet also fairly challenging. Luck plays a lot into gameplay meaning you can do all the right things and end up screwing yourself up a lot. Very frustrating.

This game is hands down one of the best games I have ever played. If you are still not sure about purchasing it or not here are a few notes. Radiation now affects your health. There are no more "skills" everything is perks. Ghouls are way more fearsome than ever before. Aside from that this is Fallout in the best way possible. Buy this immediately.
