Is it better than the base game? Yes.
Would I rather be replaying BG3 or Phantom Liberty? Yes.
So... I'd rather do that instead.

After buying this, I noticed that I:
1. stopped having weasel errors
2. always match with the best in fireteam finder
3. one shot the witness
So I'd definitely recommend

I woke up this morning and thought, "gosh, Pete Parsons has done an excellent job with managing Bungie, how do I contribute to his private jet fund"

And then theey released this silver pack, and I knew god was real and listens to me

Glitches
Jerky animations
Soulless eyes
Uninspired writing and dialogue
Basic quest design
Lore so boring, I've seen better in fanfics

This game had a better redemption arc than Steve Harrington

It's portal with a fresh coat of paint.

Played it for 10 minutes. Ooh'd and ahh'd at it for a while, then I realized it's the same game I've beaten a half dozen times. Didn't really feel compelled to finish it.

Also, make sure to turn off Steam Overlay, Big Picture Mode, and/or as many extraneous things as possible. Otherwise this game will probably crash on startup.

Wish I can cast repario on this game and make it run better

Edit: after 2 patches, the game runs smoother, but still suffers from weird visual bugs, performance hitches (though not so bad), and occasional crashes to desktop. My original review still stands
