This game is everything that the original was, and more. Hades is one of my favorite games of all time. Slapping a resource gathering mechanic, as well as a new magic system, keeps the game play fresh, while still shining just a bright as it's predecessor.

Regarding the shaky launch of this game:

Yes, it may be really buggy right now, but as long as you disable the NVIDIA effects in-game, you should be 100% fine. I have yet to run into any issues outside of random FPS slow-downs. You can easily edit a .ini file in the game's main directory to disable the 30fps lock. I Have been running this game in 1080p at 60fps with settings maxed out (aside from the NVIDIA ones). I have an EVGA GTX 760 and I have barely run into any problems.

Regarding the actual game itself:

I haven't played too much of the story yet, but the gameplay is crisp, the combat is very satisfying, and the batmobile is a sometimes-awkward yet welcome addition.
