I was still enjoying the original version of this game, up until this one released. But this was an easy purchase in a heartbeat.
- All previous DLC characters included at a reasonable base starting price (other games be pricey).
- A free version, adding lots of players and you can sucker friends into trying!
- A Fall Guys clone with your favourite Granblue characters, and it's actually dope.
- Lots of fun extras now like a favourite character to pep talk to you at menus and dioramas etc
- More Granblue Fantasy and a reignited interest for people with proper net code!
So far my experience has been pretty great. I don't usually play multiplayer due to the usual beating I recieve. But the pass with rewards has kept me trying every day and I notice improvement regularly! Give it a try. You can play it for free and get convinced later.

Also game has Narmaya. Had me at that.

If you can get past the price tag, this game is friggin awesome! The art style, characters, levels, interactions, attacks and game modes are off the charts. Everything I want from a fighting game.

Star Wars Squadrons is a phenomenal, flight simulating experience, for both player who enjoy single player content, and online competition.

The campaign isn't very long, but offers replay value with medals that can be earned by meeting certain requirements. The characters were also very endearing for the most part. Extra optional dialogue also provides some neat references here and there and gives you a chance absorbing the ambience of the hanger. The campaign missions aren't all copy and pasted multiplayer maps either. There are a few new ones.

The multiplayer is lots of fun, and although there aren't many modes (dogfight and fleet battles), you can play fleet battles alone, with and against AI. Since there aren't many maps, you'll get used to seeing a lot of the same places over and over. But the maps offer lots of variety to how you can play them. Varying amounts of cover, lanes, hazards, etc.

I won't waste time describing the game in detail since you can look that up in a heartbeat. But it's absolutely gorgeous and with a joystick, really does feel like you're in the cockpit of a starfighter. It's incredibly exciting and I'm happy to spend hours and hours at a time getting into battles trying to outmaneuver skilled pilots or just unloading on capital ships with bombers. There's lot's of cosmetics to keep you playing to earn, customize, and mix and match your look to keep things fresh. You also earn points to buy said cosmetics at a very fair pace I find. Level ups are easy. And challenges fill the gaps.

In closing. The game is exactly what I wanted it to be and I fanboy every time my friends load up with me wearing matching cosmetics and role call on the headsets. The only thing I want is more down the road! The obvious being maps, cosmetics, and if we're lucky, B-Wings and Tie Defenders.

Great Game With a Few Nitpicks (7.5/10)

I have purchased and played this game on both the Xbox, and now Steam and feel I can make a good assessment of things.

As far as technical things go, it often fails to launch for some reason, but on a beefy computer, the game looks beautiful and doesn't suffer from the framerate and texture loading issues of the console version. UI is clean, beautiful and much improved.

The gameplay is phenomenal. The movement is a big one. Being able to slide and climb, really adds to the fun of all the jumping and running around with a rediculous arsenal along with all the elevations. The guns, as with Borderlands going to Borderlands 2, are even more plentiful, colourful, fun to use with their now attached second functions, and the elements are even cooler with the addition of radiation and better physics for the pooling and damaging of them. Customization is the best of both it's predecessors, with you being able to change your head, skin, and now the colours of it as well. Along with your echo device, guns, chimes on the guns, and taunts. Also the vehicles finally handle like fun to drive vehicles (which halo had going all the way back in Halo CE) and it's a big improvement that adds to the whole experience.

The missions are a lot more central plot focused. I never found myself with a buildup of secondary missions due to the few you get being usually doable in the areas you're going for the main quest. Which could either be a pro or con depending on how you felt about that in Borderlands 2.

The most noticeable and important thing I feel, is the writing, style, and humour of the game. That's what attracted me to it in the first game. The writing for the base game, in my opinion is a mixed bag. There's some new characters that are wonderful. And lots of great dialogue and interactions with old ones. But unfortunately, as you've probably heard, the villians of the game are just very, very hard to watch and listen to. Not in a Handsome Jack way, where you want to kill him because he's a horrible person, but despite that love hearing his witty dialogue and watching him taunt you (because he's hilarious), but in the way that they make your skin crawl with cringey comments, depicting essentially if a streamer was the main villain for the game. I definitely nose exhaled a few times here and there, but mostly I just wanted to get things involving them over with. But like I said, lots of stuff surrounding them (but not including) is wonderful.

Also the ending was the most bizarre and unfulfilling thing ever. The cute drawings in the credits (as usual) were a lot more interesting. One actually had me tear up, which the rest of the game failed to do, despite some points that were clearly meant to do so, but didn't because they just felt forced and irritated me.

That out of the way. As I had hoped. Like previous games, the DLC is absolutely amazing. So much fun exploration, dialogue, and interactions with characters that they couldn't fit into the main game (which is fair, since they have so many now) that completely don't disappoint. The writing for the DLC is perfect. Exactly the answers to questions, expansions on characters, and cool ambient vibes, that you want from them.

The TLDR of this would be: The game is fantastic, the weapons, gameplay, DLC, vehicles, customization is all perfect. And so are most of the characters, new and old. But the villains are horrible. And a lot of the humour of the main game (not the DLC) feels different and not as good/familiar as the previous games. Lots of funny moments, but the writers being different this time certainly shows. If you got it at a reasonable price, I think you'd be quite tickled with this game.

I got the fancy crate edition when it first came out, and a few parts of it shocked and disappointed me. But sort of like with a CD, now that I've given it a second listen, I'm quite pleased with it.

Halo on PC. That in itself is a win (only Halo: Reach at this time).
With the improved graphics option on, the game is much more crisp.

The UI isn't perfect.
You can't preview armour without going into each option like folders.
The previews that do work, show the last thing your mouse touched rather than clicked. So it can be tricky actually pairing up two things.
You can't crouch while moving. Only while stopped. That's a big nono.
And the progression makes you earn things in a specific order without saving currency, for things that you specifically want. Levelling up awards a single token that you immediately spend. Saving them does nothing. Having the tokens is redundant.
And certain things like vetoing have been removed.

The many odd quirks aside. I'm having a wonderful time playing Halo again, but on PC with a mouse and keyboard, like I've always wanted to. I keep thinking that this is Halo Custom Edition. But it's the real deal.
Cool.

If not just for the Killer soundtrack, full of awesome tracks by Waveshaper, Carpenter Brut, and others. I'd recommend this game for it's perfect, fast paced, easy to learn, Synthwave scenic gameplay. It's essentially a melee game mixed with a bit of bullet hell, and just the boss battles. Good price too. Very cool stuff.

I'm a fan of all Borderlands, but especially 2. But like any other I started with 1. So I could appreciate the improvements they made. As far as remastering Borderlands 1. The nice quality of life updates like the map, graphics, glitches, customization and legendaries is pretty much the best you could do for the game, without remaking it. A great excuse to play through again, several more times. An already Legendary game, made that much more polished.

What a wholesome and fun game. It's amazing the little details too. Like the sound when you run on the chimes. And how when you die by flamethrower you melt. This game definitely gives the the Toy Story feeling I wanted it too. The music is really good too. Really beautiful maps, and just plain, simple, get right into it fun. Props to the handful of people who made this.
