Hey dude not sure if you're still subscribed to this thread, but I started another ticket with Rockstar and they actually got me back into the account this time. Got the email changed to my current one and all is well. Just a little update.. & thanks for the help last year.

Yeah, I had to create another R* account to initiate the support ticket. And that's interesting, I had no idea that happened to their platform, I assume that's probably why it wanted me to verify the email in the first place? And yeah, they take a minimum of 24 hours to reply so it's extremely slow trying to communicate with them. I'll give the date/time thing a shot cause I think that's the only thing I haven't tried.

Annoyingly this is something they've been fixing for years via livechat in like 5 minutes. Then the account slam/takeover happened 3-4 months ago and they got absolutely hammered. People started reporting livechat no longer works - all to tickets. Then the tickets went from 24 hours.. 48... up to 72 at one point with the whole process taking over 10 days for many to regain access. Technically you aren't compromised but they don't have any other real way to recover vs just using that link. Very annoying, almost as annoying as you can only use livechat if you are logged in. I would definitely give it another shot though before pondering 'strange files/non-game mods' to get around the launcher.

Yea, the -scofflineonly thing also used to work if you rolled your date/time back to the 'last time you properly logged in' and it could remain that way for a few days til the time advanced. Then you'd just move it back and keep going. Again, not much 'legit' if you went that route. One thing I do see people get stuck on is one of the things they ask so keep an eye for it. They'll ask for verification from the email - but they mean... verification from the email that was used to create the ticket... in the compromised account link. So you need to initiate contact with them - FROM - an email you have access to. You may already understand/catch this but just mentioning it incase - it tends to be the sticking point in email/help/denials.
