Crab Game is a competitive action game where you play mini-games based on the Squid Game Netflix show challenges. Similar to Fall Guys, each requires you to be the last player standing to claim the win. Here however, the game has a darker feel with players attacking and dismembering each other to win.

There are 9 different challenges include the Red-Light Green-Light simon says challenge where you are shot if you move at the wrong time. The different challenges offer more variety in 28 different locations. Colour Climb involves holding a hat as long as you can while other players try and steal it.

A novel aspect of the game is that you can hear other players who are near you speaking. This proximity chat adds to the tension and comedy of the dark challenges. Like in the TV Show, players fight each other using guns and melee weapons

Anyone who’s played a game or two of Super Smash Bros. will have the muscle memory for Brawlhalla.

Players choose a legend and fight to knock each other off a stage, which is easier when a legend is more beat-up. Legends can use light or heavy attacks.

They can also dodge and dash. Knocking a legend off-stage earns players two points, while getting knocked out decks one. In the game’s main mode, the last legend standing wins, and whoever is depleted to zero loses. In another popular mode, whoever has the most points when the clock runs out wins.

The mode I can’t get enough of is 1 vs. 1 “Strikeout,” in which I choose a new legend for each stock, and the survivor wins.

In the end it is a very good and fun game.
