I bought the [Deluxe turbo full complete orgasm edition] of the game, and the first thing i see on logging in is the 100 things the game would like me to spend more money on. last time ill ever drip my toes in western triple-A.

easily the worst game i ever played.

we picked the "hard" difficulty, but at no point is there any difficulty(or thinking of any kind), you can literally facetank any boss as a mage without problem.

its relentlessly boring, even the economy makes zero sense, the talent "Tree" is really just extremely numerical and uninspiring, and items could not be less meaningful if they tried.

I was expecting a fun campaign with a bad lategame, but even the campaign is completely unplayable. I have no idea how the general consensus on this game was just "oh yeah kinda flopped" instead of really just informing everyone this is an utter dumpster fire.

Please be warned, the reviews arent just "Microtransactions bad" vs "Microtransactions not that bad"
This game sucks well on its own. here are a few of my many frustrations:

* Every NPC who has half an irrelevant thing to tell you treats you like an Oblivion guard who saw you murder a child, and grabs you by the face and holds your camera hostage. leave me the hell alone wtf.

* 9 out of 10 buttons need to be HELD for no reason, even simple menu interactions. its incredibly annoying.
(its not even to help with console porting, as often u have to hold when a press does nothing alternatively)

* the Aim assist on bow is extremely aggressive and yanks at your aim instead of simply bending your arrows or something. its like having an extra hand on the wheel. This "feature" can not be turned off in the menu.

* Minimap rotation is turned on by default. even tho it can be turned off i think this suffices still as a crime against humanity.

* The entire game is GREY, with 0 saturation.

* English subtitles are blatantly incorrect due to bad localization, im not sure why no1 is talking about this.

* my Healing pawns consistently fail to heal my party and just aoe heal far away.

* The Char creation and linear intro before reaching the city take a long time, up to 5 or 6 hours depending on pace, and once you reach the first city you are in the Open world, and thats where the Engine starts pooping its pants no matter how good your pc is. performance drops, and you now want your refund after the 2 hour mark. with how optimized the intro was this feels like an intentional ploy against refunds, or at the very least, against Negative mouth-to-mouth talk while they try to sell a lot of the game during its first week.

Wish the game had terraria/valheim style Characters where you can join any server with ur main dude (+palbox). aside from that im very happy.

Infinite email verification bug,
it will ask to verify your email which has already been verified.
when you try to verify it again it tells you, no, you already verified your email.
and then it will go back to demanding you verify your email.

Other posted a "fix" suggesting to delete the old ankama account and making a new one on the website - which u then link to steam afterwords. but when i delete my old ankama account (to link the new one) it claims my steam is still taken by an ankama account (which clearly doesnt excist when i try to log in with steam, resulting in an error)

its just completely busted up, and has been for a long time, appearently.
If you are going to try the game, i suggest making an account on the website that u will link to steam later, before every launching the game on steam, to attempt to avoid ever landing in the eternal pitfall. because it simply does not work as a "fix" after u have been GOT by the bug.

The castle is stunning, the stories are plentiful and cool.
Flying could be updated, I cant see quidditch working in potential future DLC with the way it is now.
Aside from a couple of preventable minor UI annoyances its an amazing near-perfect game.
must-have for any fan of HP or Single player adventures.
GOTY contender.

The best sword art game i have played by far.

Flying took a second to get used to but in the second half of my playtrough I found myself flying during combat a lot. It is really well done.
The combat is fast and fun, but If your comp sucks a bossfight can take quite a while.
The overworlds and the dungeons were all great.
Sometimes the game will surprise you with awesome visuals. the in-door dragon bosses were awesome.
As someone who was enjoying the world and gameplay more than the story, I was happy how extremely fast you are allowed to spam trough them, you can basically skip every bit of story you don't feel like reading/listening to. So if you are scared of visual novels etc, dont be scared here.

I didn't fall in love with the game right away, but once I was deep into the gameplay loop I couldn't stop until i 100%ed the game, there is something very satisfying about it.

Its good. hope everyone unlocks their passes via the challenges, so we can play more different maps in multiplayer more often.

Very chill and pretty IDLE-MMO. If you have a spare monitor this is a great vibe.

BUT    
• Missing the industry standard option for the Mouse not to move while dragging the camera.
  I recommend using a controller for active play until its fixed.
      
• Missing the option to keep audio while alt tabbed.
  Especially since 99% of players is alt tabbing; its an idle MMO.
      
• Camera zooms out and back in randomly, even when turning all camera-related settings off this still happens.
  "Fixed" it for myself by fully zooming out, which is not very comfortable.
