All the content you see in the trailers only scratches the surface of whats in the game. At one point i was shooting at pirates and another I was in an otaku dream sequence rhythm game.

If there was one complaint it would be that the game's varying content is as wide as the ocean but as deep as a puddle. But in my opinion all of the puddles are very fun to play in.

I'm gonna go find some good stated seahorses for the racing minigame now :)

people complaining about the game containing “sjw ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥” like having multiple women and using the singular they and im like, sir thats a big fish alien, it probably doesnt have genders,

a bit more watered down than i was expecting, but then it is only $20, ($10 until the first of may)

nice 2d artstyle for the cut scenes, a bit buggy atm, workshop options (xcom has an amazing modding community)

a lot of funny often cringy back and forth between the characters, like one where the sectoid asks the hybrid if he can mind meld with him when he eats a steak so he can taste it (most human food is toxic to them) and the hybrid goes “ok but only if we split the bill”

the game really wants you to feel bad for the aliens who are being discriminated against, but then theres the whole “the analogy doesnt work properly if the people being segregated are ACTUALLY dangerous” a-la X-men
