Definitely modifying my original review.

You bell ends, you nerfed it into the ground. Way to go. For new buyers: Don't bother buying the game, everything you will love about it will be squashed to force you into a meta you never wanted to begin with.

Strong recommend from me. Game is super fun, even if my character looks kinda like a Dwarf, and I got the STUPID RAKE BUG arrrghhh

I want to believe in this game so bad. I really hope the devs polish this up and make it playable tolerable. I cannot recommend in this state, I ended up refunding it myself - But I will keep an eye on this to see if it improves in the future, and pick it up again if so. A lot of really good ideas here, just not ready for the public, imo. Especially at this price.

RGG with another flawless victory. Almost everything I can think of has already been sad in these reviews. Lost Judgment improves on (the already incredible) Judgment in every conceivable way, imo. And personally I feel LJ has the best combat of any RGG game so far (I haven't played Ishin yet)

Big recommend, 9/10 all around.

Hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had playing a game, ever. Period. YLAD is on my Mt. Rushmore, along with FC2, Days Gone, and the original MW2.

It is very easy to become invested in Ichi's story, and the character development in this title is absolutely top notch. Exceeded every expectation I had going into the story.

Visually, this game still looks and feels very current, and runs great on my system (5950X, 3080 10GB, 64GB@4000 @1600p) with an average of ~100-120 FPS and rare but consistent drops to about 40-60 in the park at times.

The turn based combat - I usually detest turn based combat, and play FPS games for the majority of the time - But this combat style won me over pretty quickly, and when I got used to it I found it was plenty exciting when I wasn't auto-combatting trash mobs. I doubt I will feel that way about many games, but they just did it right here, to their credit.

RGG does it again, with fantastic storytelling, a huge environment, some great turn-based combat, excellent voice acting, so, so, sooo much to do in the world, and an anti-hero protagonist in Ichiban that is one of the best characters ever written in a game, period.

I had this free in my gamepass, but the controller feel was pure garbage in the gamepass version, so I just picked it up on Steam. No regrets there.

Strong recommend from me, whether on sale or not this game is worth every cent.

I really am enjoying this at the stage of the game I am at. (early ~4.5 hrs)

Just finished YLAD and LAD:G as well, and of the three I personally feel Judgement has the most refined combat and the most detailed environment. YLAD is turn-based, so not really a fair comparison, But Judgement combat controls are a fair bit more involved than LAD:G. It feels great once you get used to it.

Also, something something gamepad. You really should use one for this title. KB/M controls are fine, but the game is clearly designed with a gamepad in mind.

Judgement is beautiful, and there really is something to be said for RGG creating this entire world that spans multiple games. I am already familiar with Kamorocho from other entries in the Yakuza franchise, but the version of Kamorocho in Judgement is -while being entirely familiar - much larger and more detailed in scope. It feels both familiar and unexplored to me.

Huge fan of RGG, and Judgement is looking like one of their marquee titles for me so far. Big recommend.

It is good to see storytelling in this format. The narrator was positively excellent, and this was an accurate representation of the author's work. Little bits of trivia as well. Takes about 25-30 minutes to get through, and I really enjoyed it.

Inspired me to get some morphine 10/10

I liked it. Killer level design. They captured the Warhammer vibe for sure. Game is fine for what it is, don't go into it thinking it is gonna be some fabulous story or anything, know that the combat is it's strength (think Doom) and you will have a blast.

Good use of 13 dollars imo.

Super fun, super short. Quite dark.

Surprisingly well done, I did not expect this level of polish at all. It's a great time for what it is.

Gotta recommend this one, I had a blast playing it. I never saw any of the Harry Potter movies or anything, except for some of Goblet of Fire on mushrooms, so I went into this blind.

They nailed it. The art is fantastic, and the audio is as well. Relationships build nicely. The transmog system is simple and gratifying. Also, Snidgets!

kept ~100-144 FPS on a Ryzen 5950X + Nvidia 3080 12GB. Turned off ray tracing and it fixed the stutters I had early on.

Anyway, great game, great atmosphere and feel.
