So far, this is how remakes/masters should be done. It looks amazing and brings back 2008-nostalgia. Highly recommended if you like survival horror in general, but definitely if you have played and enjoyed the original.

I received it for "free" via family share. High price point might turn some people off.

Always loved this game, but after just now coming back to it I remembered that using the old pot to collect water is very hit and miss and honestly pretty frustrating. Limits you to very specific spots to build, or else you're screwed early on for drinking water. Otherwise, solid game. Hopefully the sequel fixes this issue.

I still recommend when you get a good lobby, but those are few and far between.

Still some of the best $3 I have ever spent.

Not as in-depth as World, but more focused on just getting in and fighting monsters to get phat lewts. Online gameplay seems stifled a bit with spotty connection issues, but that might just be me and my friend's internet.

After 105 hours, I find this as a guilty pleasure game but a failing one. Had great fun initially, but the servers seem to be taking a steady nosedive. Massive ping issues, rampant cheating, grapple hooks failing constantly, weapon hits not registering.

All of these issues seem to stem from all non-ranked played (except the cheating, that's everywhere in this game), so I guess if you enjoy RANKED, it's fine.

One of the best games of all time. It was very different and I know a lot of people didn't like Doom 3 when it first released, but I have come back to this game time and time again to play through the campaign. Highly recommended.
