Great game so far, but suffering from performance issues at Launch. Game will stutter from time to time and micro=speed up afterwards. Frames dip to 15 in the worst of areas. This can be really frustrating when mid combat and the stutter leads to a death. The added jump button and horseback combat is a welcomed addition.

Fun at first, but too many bugs and exploits in the game that need addressing.

The game isn't tagged with it, but it is actually split-screen coop, which makes this game even better. Kill ants, spiders, robots, drones and more by the masses. With massive explosions, decent physics destruction system, hundreds of weapons to use, It is an absolute blast experimenting with all the different weapons for the 4 classes. Making synergizing builds and farming more weapon unlocks on higher difficulties becomes the gameplay loop to get better stuff and get through the campaign. Grab a friend for some awesome and hilarious local/online coop action!

Fade to Silence is one of those games that grows on you the more you play it. It is visually stunning and the snow looks amazing as your Wolves tread and sled. The weather system is challenging at times but comes easy to deal with as you progress through the game. The area for building is small, so there are pieces you may not get to build. Crafting has enough depth going for it to keep your followers busy/crafting while you're out exploring, and for natural progression in the game. There's only a handful of enemies in the game, and the AI becomes predictable/easy once you get a feel for it. Combat is very simple with Light, Heavy, Parry and Roll. The feel of the combat reminds me of the Gothic/Hellblade games to get a sense of it. Followers have some interesting character arcs/writing and i enjoyed listening to the dialogue for the most part.

A big boss would've been nice and would aid in making the ending of the game a bit more impactful.

Trailmakers has a challenging yet rewarding campaign. You'll be addicted to it's progression and it'll keep you wanting more as you scavenge for new parts. The building system is very easy to use, save, and slot your transformation vehicle blueprints. Configuration on certain blocks like the Piston can easily be keybound within the block settings menu. Had no trouble at all getting used to the controls, however I do have a history with these building-physics type games.

I'd love to see a second campaign map, that was a lot of fun :)

A solid 8/10 from me. Highly enjoyable

This game is a nostalgia factor for me because I grew up playing SNES and N64. Using the DS4 controller mapping somebody had uploaded in the steam controller settings, I had no problem at all finishing the game within a few hours. For somebody who hasn't played the game before it'll probably take 6-8 or more if you plan to 100% it.

Decent port with controller

You have to give credit where its due to Hello Games. They've really shown us their dedication towards No Man's Sky this past year, and it is finally becoming the game we all wanted at launch. Well done Hello Games!
