In a span of one hundred minutes, I experienced the sublime Journey from Nascence to Nadir, and as the clock stuck midnight - perhaps fittingly - from Apotheosis to Rebirth. After 8 long years of waiting, I find that sometimes it's not just about the Journey but also the destination.

Highly recommended. As is the game's soundtrack.

The sojourn you spend with this game's beautiful visuals, soundtrack and - most important of all - meditative theme of melancholy and loneliness will linger in your mind long after you've put down your controller. And that's something of which few games can boast, much less one that is as much a flash in the pan as FAR: Lone Sails.

Highly recommended.

Absolutely charming albeit short (however, it lends itself to multiple playthroughs). Unputdownable; you'll want to finish it in one sitting (like I did). And when you do, you'll be satisfied with your purchase. A good pair of headphones is highly recommended.

Continuing the Bethesda tradition of large worlds, sub-par optimization, sexy art styles, egregiously bad post-release patches, epic music, and criminally high modability.
