I am having an issue with the Bow and Stern winches. If I find a place where I think I should be using them, I can't connect them to anything, So...I really am not getting their purpose. I don't want to blow through a walkthrough, that would spoil some of the fun, BUT... could someone give me a hint how to use them?!...

When I go to the menu, the options are: resume load settings controls new game Why is there no exit option? Also, I don't remember this being the case during my first play session a few days ago. Tonight I sat down and beat the second half of the game.. and I'm now realizing there is literally no exit option. Which is blowing my mind. And genuinely pissing me off....

Had no right to be this good. The scenery, the music, the gameplay, even for a simple controlled little sidescroller puzzle. I felt connected to this game and the character with no backstory.

Is there a way to identify things and their uses? I found some things which look useful, like a bell and a ... thingy which looks like something to put into a hole for whatever.. but.. I have no idea what to do with them or if they are useful at all. Perhaps they are just decorative? But I don't want to finish the game and find out I missed half the features because I did not use these items. Or just tell me I should burn them all :-)...
