Better than the new one.

Expensive, buggy, micro transactions, no licensed weapons, spyware anti-cheat that doesn't work properly, mid soundtrack (seriously, what happened to getting someone like Hans Zimmer to do the soundtracks?), short campaign, terrible menu.

Bought it specifically for the campaign and although the story was a 7/10.
The bugs were unacceptable for a game of this budget. The very sus ToS and privacy terms you HAVE to accept in order to get to the menu AND the fact you need an Activision account with your name on it, along with the anti-cheat are a huge privacy concern.

Even the 40EUR I paid for it on sale still felt like a waste of money.

As an oldschool CoD player that hadn't played any CoD games since Bo2 (excluding MW and MW2 remastered), this was a big disappointment, but also somewhat expected.

5/10 overall, wouldn't recommend unless it was under 30 euros.

Edit: Oh yeah forgot to mention booting the game for the first time left a sour taste to say the least. Out of the first 2 gameplay hours the first 35 minutes were spent on signing terms, forced restarts for updates, warzone and battle pass ads, restarting to get to the single-player mode, game crashes, and trying to debug the graphics because it looked broken as hell (high end pc with recent mid-end GPU). Honestly I pity the people that bought this for the full price or worse yet, pre-ordered it.

Certainly a good addition to the game but not worth the price. Like others have stated it's just a bunch of accessories, and even the tyres themselves are just a different texture on the actual ones. Unlike ETS2's Goodyear & Michelin DLCs where the tyres have different noises, fuel consumption, different performances in the weather, this doesn't seem to be a thing here. It's a bit disappointing but still on some level cool nonetheless. Personally I bought it to support the devs, I hope they improve it in the future.

It's just as good as it's sister game and yet unique in it's own way. However I have several small complaints. I find it weird how certain features that exist in ETS2 don't exist here and vice versa. Tires in ATS have no specs like in ETS2, and even the Goodyear pack only has 1 tire which is basically just a different skin and has no different function to the default ones at all. At the same time there's many different new cabin accessories here that don't exist in ETS2... like it's the same engine etc. why can't you just add them to both games?

Absolutely terrible just like the last 5 games, but somehow even worse. Even at 3.5€ when it was on sale it was absolutely a waste of time and money.

One of the greatest games out there with the word "Simulator" in the title. I've had loads of fun playing it all these years. The game can be a lot of fun with a good quality steering wheel / pedals / shifter setup. Very immersive, plus the developers improve upon it and expand it constantly. The community is also amazing, be it through steam, forums, etc, there's loads of friendly people you can meet, the developers know and appreciate the close connection they have with their audience and as a result they walk us through their thought process on every decision they make on the game, which is quite nice.

There's multiplayer (the official Co-op or mods like TruckersMP), official community events by the devs, lots of mods for maps, trucks, accessories, graphics, sounds and so on.

I personally can't get enough of it, I find driving in this game for a couple hours after a long day while listening to music or a podcast very relaxing.

A much better experience overall compared to Dakar 18 in every way, however there's still some improvement to be made both in terms of wheel support & optimization. Good work. I hope there's more updates soon.
Update: I'm not 100% sure but it seems the ability to get out of the vehicle to dig it out from a sticky situation or help another player is missing. Please add it back it was very unique.

Honestly if it wasn't pointed out the average person would think this is an official expansion for Portal 2. Very well written and the quality of the game as a whole is on another level. However it is true that the puzzles are much more difficult compared to Portal 1 & 2, but once you get the hang of it they're not impossible to solve or anything.

Short, but good. Compared to when it first came out the bugs are now almost nonexistent and the improvements really make a difference. Looking forward to EZ2.

An amazing one-off game that defined it's era in many ways. However just as other games from the time it needs some work to get it running properly. (Silent's Silentpatch or ThirteenAG mods have versions for this game too like old GTA titles, fixes for modern resolutions controllers and fps are all available). The story is one of the best Rockstar has written and it's a shame we will probably never see a sequel.
