I like Monster Hunter Rise, it brings some new mechanics to the table and has a faster pace, compared to other Monster Hunter games. I loved the other Monster Hunter games. In those games I felt like I had to fight against the monsters like my life depended on it. When I play Monster Hunter Rise, I don't fight the monsters, I beat them up.

While that's cool, it does get old pretty fast, especially when I'm not playing with friends. I still like the game, but I can't help but feel like I should just go back to playing MH World. I know it's not entirely fair to compare both games, but since they're on the same platform, and world is cheaper nowadays, If anyone asks me which game I prefer, or which of the two I recommend they get, it's world/iceborne, not rise/sunbreak.

I played this during the beta and I got hooked. This is some of the most fun PvP gameplay I've seen. Maneuvering my dragon around castle towers and rock formations at extreme speed is so satisfying I sometimes forget I should be trying to take out my opponents to win the match.
