this is a game where you grind up vegetables to walk around. that's the whole game. potion crafting?? 20 dollars??

redcircle survivors. hands down the worst survivor clone.

the gameplay is stacking aoe and dodging red circles until you get oneshot; there's a billion metaprogression unlocks for different colored aoes and nothing that changes the gameplay or build variety

demo is missing alot of qol like mouse support and mechanic explanations, buy and refund it instead if you want to try it

-very stable, haven't seen any crashes/bugs
-combat system, +hit chance on miss, when attacked they have a chance to get +speed
-dungeon exploration
-item fusion system
-combo abilities
-omnyoji has a aoe instant kill ability that's very entertaining
-dying isn't grindy because you get the equips back and they're more powerful each time you die

cons
-mechanically shallow, bosses are immune to debuffs so combat/gearing is very one note
-5 enemies per area
-mechanics poorly explained
-having to full clear every dungeon
-very grindy, you grind to get gold, reset the doomsday clock, upgrade the town, to level characters to fodder off for skill points, to get items to fuse to fuse into items to fuse etc. , you can outgrind any difficulty

addressing some other review points:
there's enough food drops that i never bought food ever
you can press e to check what boss abilities do
you can disable the clock/enemy respawn if you want, it's as grindy as you want it to be
if you let enemies go first(get caught on the map) and take 5 turns in a row you have a high chance of dying

I wouldn't compare this to DD, it's more of a jrpg. if you want more DD try iratus/othercide/xcom
probably a better experience on switch
