Good fun once you get used to the controls

Comfortably the best DLC Paradox have released in a year at least.

Adds some really nice new content and flavour to the game.

Although Stellaris itself is probably approaching EOL now, I'm expecting a sequel within the next 2 years.

Better than headspace

Cities skylines but there's crack in it

The recent BattlEye update was very poorly implemented, GTA online is effectively unplayable for me now.

Also, it broke Steam Deck support and Rockstar have expressed no interest in rectifying this, even though it is essentially a checkbox on their end.

Performance is terrible considering my hardware, I can only get 48fps in CS2 for a new game on specs that can achieve 300+fps on Minecraft. It shouldn't be this bad.

The game also looks awful, I had to mess with anti-aliasing settings to make it look half decent (advanced settings > TAA) but it still doesn't exactly look modern.

I'm not sure what went wrong here.

A good foundation for an EA game.

It feels like there is a bit more depth that could be added - such as some form of technology progression. And maybe some more societal simulation going on too. I'm not talking like a 4X game, but simulating a few more variables and giving them a meaningful impact on the game would go a long way.

Also, the wallpaper mode is a great idea but it doesn't fit on my screen properly, possibly due to the higher than standard resolution (1440p). Ideally the wallpaper mode would cover the whole screen and be a bit more cinematic (I don't really want to see the UI in the wallpaper mode).

Otherwise, the game does show promise and I think it will improve over the course of the EA if the developer listens to and implements community feedback.

Very similar to Myst in many ways, overall a very fun experience that keeps you thinking. Just about the right pacing to not be too easy but also to feel rewarding. Would recommend to any fans of puzzle games.

Very atmospheric, I love the cyberpunk theme.

Is it worth the price? Maybe. As it's an EA title I expect it will become better value as more updates drop.
