My life has absolutely changed (for the better) after playing this game. I have finally found meaning.

No Man's Sky is a game with stunning visuals, diverse atmospheres, and plenty of content. It is the perfect sandbox game to play if you're not looking for something too intense. The combat is there, and is implemented well, but is not so integral to the core game play. The environments are vibrant, and each planet feels unique. Acquiring resources may sometimes feel like a chore, but you learn to enjoy it. It is most definitely a game that requires grinding, but the process is enjoyable. With a developer team this dedicated to keeping the game fresh, I would definitely recommend No Man's Sky at its current price point.

An interesting main story, a rich atmosphere, and lovable characters are what make The Witcher 3 what it is. The gameplay can feel repetitive at points, and many points of interest seem tedious for the sake of being tedious. However, the amount of value this game offers at its price point, considering it takes at minimum 100 hours to complete, makes me inclined to recommend it.

Unfortunately, the clever level design and rich gameplay of Borderlands 3 do not make up for the lacklustre story and lack of soul this game has compared to the second.

I would recommend it based upon the gameplay alone, but considering the amount of season passes and additional payments needed to access a lot of the content, this game is hard to love.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is not a perfect game, and it is difficult to recommend it to anyone who is recently wanting to get into it. However, it is by no means a bad game.

The story is decent, but it is the gameplay which really defines Dying Light. It takes a concept that is not necessarily unique, parkour, and combines it with an undead element to bring some of the funnest gameplay I have ever experienced in a single-player game. The weapon customisation and different abilities to unlock in this game make it a must-play at any price point.

Simply a competitive FPS shooter done well.

Garry's Mod is the ultimate sandbox game, and a necessary component of any Steam library.

This game has a fresh concept and it executes it well. Each mission is unique and the visuals are done well. The variety in guns, enemies, and environments mean it'll take a while before you get bored. I would recommend picking this up to play with a group of four.

Another fun platformer that is definitely better with friends. You won't find any rich story or thought provoking dialogue here, but the gameplay is definitely enjoyable despite its shortcomings.
