27.2 hrs on record (27.1 hrs at review time)
Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)

What I Loved:
Good Old Vibes: The game brings back a lot of nostalgia for fans of the classic Need for Speed titles like Underground 2. The street racing culture, tuning cars, and customizations really take you back to that golden era of arcade racing.
Great Graphics: The visuals are solid for its time, with detailed environments, car models, and smooth animations that make the racing feel immersive.
Semi-Good Story: While not revolutionary, the story does a decent job of keeping you engaged, offering some fun moments between races.

What Could Be Improved:
Focus on Drifting: The game's heavy emphasis on drifting takes away from the more traditional high-speed racing that fans loved in earlier titles. The overreliance on this mechanic can feel frustrating, especially when it's not your preferred playstyle.
Challenging & Time-Consuming Tasks: Some of the challenges, particularly those tied to time limits or difficult drifting sections, are nearly impossible to complete unless you're highly skilled or have endless patience. This makes progression feel more like a grind than fun.
Overall Difficulty: The difficulty curve can feel punishing, which could turn off players who just want a fast-paced arcade racer without the constant feeling of being stuck on difficult objectives.

Early Access Review
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)

What I Loved:
  • The visuals are impressive, especially the environments, though they don't always make up for the overall experience.
  • The skill gem system remains as intricate and customizable as ever, giving players a lot of room for creativity.
  • The game has great potential with its expansive world-building and lore.
What Could Be Improved:
  • Buggy and Unstable: From constant crashes to game-breaking bugs, the technical side of the game is a mess. The game’s performance, especially on mid-tier systems, is far from optimized..
  • Clunky Combat: The combat system, while visually stunning, lacks the fluidity and responsiveness you'd expect from a modern action RPG. It often feels unpolished, especially when it comes to hit detection and skill timing.
  • Lack of Meaningful Content Updates: Despite all the promises, content updates feel sparse and underwhelming, and the progression system can feel like a grind with minimal rewards.

A Solid Post-Apocalyptic Adventure with Room to Grow - Fallout 76
Rating: ★★★★

What I Loved:
Rich Worldbuilding and Atmosphere: The attention to detail in the environment, from the remnants of old world technology to the mysterious notes scattered around, really draws you into the post-apocalyptic setting.
Improved Gameplay and Content: The addition of NPCs, quests, and events has significantly enhanced the experience. It's no longer just a survival game.
Multiplayer Fun: Whether you're taking on world events, completing quests, or simply exploring, the multiplayer aspect is incredibly fun and rewarding.
Frequent Updates: Bethesda has been steadily rolling out updates, adding new content, events, and fixes.

What Could Be Improved:
Bugs and Performance: Although Fallout 76 has seen substantial improvements, it still has some occasional bugs and glitches, especially when it comes to quest progression and NPC interactions. It's much better than launch, but performance could still be a bit more stable at times.

Title: Engrossing Time-Travel ARPG - Last Epoch
Rating: ★★★★☆
"Last Epoch" stands as a testament to what ambitious game design and a passion for the ARPG genre can achieve. The game offers an enthralling time-travel narrative mixed with deep, satisfying gameplay mechanics. However, my experience was slightly dampened by persistent server and login issues.
What I Loved:
Innovative Skill System: The skill system in "Last Epoch" is a breath of fresh air. It allows for deep customization and encourages experimentation, which kept me engaged for hours on end.
Rich Time-Travel Story: The narrative is compelling, weaving a tale across different eras. This not only adds depth to the story but also variety to the environments and enemies.
Engaging Combat: Combat in "Last Epoch" is both challenging and rewarding. The variety of skills and classes allows for numerous playstyles, catering to different types of players.
Regular Updates and Developer Interaction: The developers are committed to improving the game, regularly releasing updates and engaging with the community, which is always a positive sign.

Title: A Masterful Remake of a Classic - Mafia: Definitive Edition
Rating: ★★★★★
What I Loved:
Compelling Storytelling: The narrative of the game is its strongest suit.
Breathtaking Visuals: The remastered graphics are nothing short of stunning.
Immersive Gameplay: The gameplay mechanics are updated beautifully, striking a balance between authenticity and modern game design. The driving and shooting feel realistic and add to the overall immersive experience.
Sound and Voice Acting: The voice acting is top-notch, bringing each character to life. The game's soundtrack and period-appropriate music further enhance the atmosphere.
Attention to Detail: The game's attention to detail, from the design of the cars to the architecture of the city, is remarkable. It truly feels like stepping into the 1930s.

I played it on Quest 3, and I'm thrilled with how good the game is. It's so realistic that I forgot it's a video game and not a real one.
