Played the demo for 10h. Actually the only game I was actively anticipating, haha.

Disappointingly disjointed.

Really wanted to like this game. However, with all those modes it feels super disconnected. I wish the career mode would at least combine multiple modes - at the very least as a hub world.

Shove rocks to collect parts you can use at racing. Explore hostile areas with rudimentary armor and weapon parts. Build an ingenious contraption to reach overseas content early without a boat. (Making the player feel like they tricked the game is great design.) Fly a janky rocket in the sky to find your first plane parts. Explore a cavern to find an underground Sci-Fi racing ring. Do parabolic flights to reach space parts. Go into PvP fights with part limitations. Transport your vehicles on bigger vehicles until you have to switch because they don't fit with the following terrain.

No. Go into ship mode and build a ship. Go into space mode, build a space. Go into car mode, build a car.

Played it while checking off some bosses from my Youtube watchlist. However even then it started to feel more and more tedious. Just grinding really, zero challenge except for remembering which cave had which mineral. Also I had way too much money with nothing to spend it on.
Left me with a sour taste.

I kinda ... played the demo through? Didn't know I liked nonogram so much, despite having played Picross.

I greatly appreciate how generous you are with the demo, trusting your game and trusting users to still buy it after 5-10h playtime. If that wasn't enough there's a huge reward for finishing all puzzles!

Personally 10 hours was satisfying enough, so I won't buy the game. Nah, for real - the positive business practise is enough to justify a purchase. Can't wait for a specific release date, my brain needs more, despite having to work!

Very promising, I enjoyed it. I wish the storytelling had more room to breathe. Maybe it's just a dense showcase for the Demo. but it felt rushed while I was just trying to bike around for a few minutes. Instead it was interaction, 30 seconds riding, interaction, 30 seconds riding, ... The space is so densely packed I'm wondering why I need a bike at all.

Upgrading is pretty exciting, but the box placement is too obvious. "I've heard about a box dropping nearby" - yeah, 2 metres away from you my friend.
Riding feels good, but a bit much on rails for my taste. I would enjoy more freedom of movement and more risk, more control, more excitement. Of course it's probably not wanting to be Descenders, but a bit more engagement would be nice, given it's not pure cycling but some offroading and jumps as well.

Humour is like Ollie Ollie World, sweet if not overdone, otherwise it can get annoying, taking away from the comfy vibe.
Performance on Garuda Linux, 7800X3D and RTX3070 is pretty bad.

Overall I'm looking forward to the game, even if it may not hit all the right marks. I just hope there will be a decision for the amount of interaction/point of interests. Really missing some chill riding and honestly a more empty world where discoveries matter.

Satisfying and smooth, just so well developed! I'd be excited about some more character depth to fit the gorgeous visuals.

Performance drops after about 535 minutes, especially on the loading screens. On the upside, it's good enough to play 535 minutes in one session!

Usually I never 100% games, especially with those unnecessary difficult achievements. This however, was simply delightful and even added to the game, also apparent by the global achievement stats.

So much passion went into Tinykin. I call these "Love letter to gaming", with Deep Rock Galactic being another example.
